Water falls down the side of the Mountain along the eastbound side of Highway 50. Seriously waterfalls down the hill. Water falls.

A very cool place falls run most years - year round, you can stop for a few minutes on your way to Lake Tahoe. Many people stay long enough for a quick bite and lots of pictures. No fee to see this one!

If you are driving from or to South Lake Tahoe you may want to stop for a brief look at the Bridal Vail Falls. They are right next to the highway with parking opportunities and space for maybe be short picnic. Especially after the recent El Nino rains it is worth a look.

A very nice waterfall inset on a safe turnout along US 50, there is more to explore close by but this really grabs your attention from either direction.

We always stop here along the way to Tahoe, or carson City. For some reason, it always looks different. During the winter it freezes over, and gives a really cool effect. East on Hwy. 50 a few miles from Pollock Pines on the right.
