Any time we are in the area, Dobra Zemlja is our first stop as it opens at 10:00am daily. The winemaker, Milan is such a character and you will find him featured on the labels of the Milan Ruz (say it out loud) which deserves...More

The wine here is unfiltered, but good. They have a huge local following that comes to refill their wine jugs in the European tradition. Knowledgeable staff. Best Sangiovase we have ever tried, try it yourself, you'll take a couple home.

Hats off to the staff and wine maker! Impressive grounds with a pond and nice picnic tables offer a sublime setting. The tasting room is well done and the wine... wow! Unique for a wine country that specializes in that concept.

No matter how many times we visit Dobra, we are greeted with enthusiasm, and of course, great wine! The winemaker often makes an appearance and instead of a "stuffy" Napa Valley wine room, you find yourself tasting and laughing on a gorgeous park like property,...More
