Skylar a server here was unbelievable rude to our group! Right when we walked in, she was abrasive to us. And told us she would charge us “$15 for the extra person” although we had two long standing winery members with us. She also told us she should be on maternity leave but it isn’t provided. Beside her other off topic, unprofessional comments and her behavior toward us to say the least no one around looked like management to fix the situation. I have never experienced a bad time at a winery until I came here. Skylar told us we looked like we were “all in a bad mood.” She didn’t change out our wine glasses from white to red… She under poured, when I told her she didn’t switch out our wine glasses, she told me I had an attitude?? Absolutely worst customer service. Skylar had zero etiquette and zero customer service skills. I’ll never come back to this winery.

Had an awful experience at Villa Toscano on December 28th. My friend is a member and we stopped to have a tasting and for her to pick up a few shipments. She wanted to taste some of the wines she had in her shipments to see if she wanted to trade them out. The person in the office, Kelly, told her she may not be able to get a tasting because the were busy. They were a bit busy but there were only 3 of us with one be a member you would think they could fit us in. But nope. So my friend asked to trade a few of her wines to Erika. Kelly said no per owners they can not trade out to Erika while shoving a piece of paper say this into my friends face. My friend said they have done this in the past. Kelly said that can’t be true. So my friend cancelled her membership and Kelly could not careless. Kelly has awful customer service and should not have any contact with customers. I used to belong to this winery years and was thinking rejoining, needless to say that is not happing. Funny thing, throughout the tasting room there were signs “customer appreciation month”. Kelly did not get that memo.
FYI my friend was there a month ago with her parents that purchased 5 cases of wine.

The winery venue is stunning! However, do not eat at the restaurant! One orders inside, gets a pager, waits for buzz and dines on outside tables. When we did not get paged for 20 minutes, we went inside where our sandwiches were waiting; we were told the pagers don't work! Our group was swarmed by wasps while dining outside; when we complained to the staff, they said they could do nothing about it. We had to eat in our automobile. When we asked staff to pack our leftover sandwich, they threw them away and did not offer a replacement sandwich. Very poor customer service; the young staff are not empowered to make the customer happy. Do not patronize the restaurant!

We had not been to Sutter Creek for a number of years, and since things are beginning to re-open after COVID, we visited this past week. Our friends had never visited the wineries in Plymouth --- and sadly many were still closed --- but Villa Toscano was open. Service was great ... and they have outdoor dining adjacent to the winery so we had lunch as well. We highly recommend Villa Toscano Winery.

The wines are good and we especially like the Zinfandels and Pinot Grigio. We joined the club to get wine discount and to have a reason to drive down every couple months. The bistro is a nice place to eat. We haven’t had a bad meal yet. Service is a bit on the slow side but we don’t mind since we are typically in a leisurely frame of mind and enjoying a bottle of wine.

Small, pretty setting. Too bad there were swarming “meat” bees. 😣 Caesar Salad was below par. Sandwich and burger were good.
Service needs improvement. Lacked attention to patrons. We asked when our order would be ready....staff said the burger and sandwich were done but salad was holding up order. Really?
Hope they can overcome their deficiencies.

This is a great stop coming into wine tasting region. Beautiful vineyard venue. Pick up a bottle in the tasting area and proceed to 'lunch' on their signature pizza offerings or other menu items... Never disappoints!

My parents treated us to Friday patio lunch yesterday. We had 2 hot pastas, 2 pasta salads, hot vegetables, and bread to choose from. Everything tasted wonderful. We drank a white Barbera which was awesome. The tasting room, gift shop and grounds are beautiful, especially with the eye-popping green hills for a background. Go now, before the hills turn yellow!

The location, design and serenity here are excellent and very enjoyable. The grounds are a pleasure to spend some time in. The tasting room has lost some of its hospitality and this takes away from the experience.

Hi- We are following the CDC guidelines to ensure safety for our staff and customers. Masks are required when you are on the property, social distancing measures are in place and we are taking extra steps to disinfect and ensure all spaces are clean. Please note- Bella Piazza is temporarily closed and Villa Toscano is open.
