Lovely location slightly raised with views over the vineyard. The wines were OK and the service OK. $8, 8 wines. They were busy when we were there, so although friendly enough, we didn't get the attention that we have at other places.

Oh my goodness, what a delight this place turned out to be! The servers were knowledgable, down to earth & entertaining to boot. The wines were very tasty; feel in love with the Zinfandel 2013...yummy!

When you go to the wineries in Amador, don't miss Andis. This winery has modern architecture and is just lovely. The wines are excellent and reasonably priced. You can sit and relax, or play a little bocce ball while you enjoy the gorgeous view. Andis is unique and definitely should be included in any wine tasting tour.

Andis has some of the best Sparkling Wines I have tasted. When I need champagne I run out here and grab a bottle or two :)

Andis has been going through a wine identity crisis. The former wine maker left and they brought in a new one that likes to experiment. The wines became inconsistent. The former wine make has returned recently so we look forward to get back to consistently good wines. This last time we went was probably one of the worse tastings. I... More

We were here about 1-1/2 years ago and enjoyed their sparkling wine at the time along with the whites. We think the winery is maturing and it shows with their red wines. The Amador valley is known for the bold Zinfandels and the Andis zins are now showing their that they are among the best in the valley. It is... More

The very unique use of barrel staves in creating the walls and surroundings make for a pleasant experience when entering. It is a super modern facility, but the aged barrel staves are fun, carved with the names of the original 220 wine club members, The Founders Club -- who were club members before the wine was produced! Now names are... More

We were given a private tour of the facilities and treated to some barrel tastings and the regular tastings. Staff was very personable and knowledgeable. Small production winery (7000 cases a year) that is making good wine. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.

I've been to Napa and Sonoma many, many times but this was my first time seeing the wineries on Shenendoah Road in Amador County. It was like Napa 30 years ago. The wineries were all new, nice, and tastings were $5 (Not 25 to 50 like Napa) with the $5 going towards your first purchase and the wines were well... More

Andis is up and coming. We've been there a few times. The wines are good, but the tasting room had a smell of lacquer every so slightly that detracted from the wines. Hey, the place is very new and that will fade over time. We were treated to a nice tour by the wine maker and really enjoyed our time... More
