We've been to all of the local casinos within driving distance of Sacramento, and Red Hawk stands out as the best of them all. It can be crowded on weekends, so we try to go during the week when the crowds are smaller and it's easier to get a spot at a gaming table. While you're here, go to Henry's... More

Lady Luck and I parted ways during this first trip to Red Hawk. Even so I have some tips to keep you in the action. 1. Head for the buffet down stairs before every else does. That means at least by 11:15 am to avoid long, long lines. Red Hawk is super slow to seat you. The wait cuts into... More

Went to the casino with my wife and we were there for the buffet which was pretty good. While in the buffet line I found a $70 cash voucher on the floor and scooped it right up. Woohoo! I thought, ahead already... We went upstairs and wife played slots and I played dice then got a TNT at the bar... More

I've won a few times. Definitely more than at thunder valley friendlier staff and free soda so at least you don't leave completely empty handed.

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner at Henry's. Everything was presented nicely and tasted delicious. We had a gift card that helped pay for this pricey meal. It was worth it though as we feel everyone should treat themselves occasionally.

A bit pricey but worth the money if you eat like it's your last meal. There were many meat and seafood options. The dessert menu was pretty extensive too.

Driving back from Tahoe and decided to stop at Red Hawk to eat. Very good food. Meat was awesome. They have a special section where they serve kitchen specials. The seating has you look out to the forrest side of Placerville. We came during sunset so it was a beautiful view while we ate. Staff was very nice and prompt.... More

This casino is going down hill and you are one of the reason we are all moving on! Truth about Redhawk from a high limit's gambler (at one time) since the day they opened): 1. Bob (who is in charge of the comps) is a jerk. His employees can't even stand him. They will give you comps (send you something... More
