- Andrew MSan Carlos, California264 contributionsSmall Outlet Mall, but Home to California Welcome CenterWe were visiting Pismo Pier and the surrounding neighborhood for a day trip from San Luis Obispo, and we had chosen to ride the bus instead of driving to Pismo Beach. Most regional buses stop just outside the Pismo Beach Premium Outlets, and while we waited for our bus, we walked through the outlet mall and into some shops. On the whole, while all of the stores were open (no restrictions in place as a result of COVID-19), it is still quite a small outlet mall, compared to others that we have been to. Most of the stores sell apparel and shoes — there are Nike and Vans outlets, plus Carter's, Calvin Klein, Converse, Levi's, Polo Ralph Lauren, and more. The outlet mall is also home to the California Welcome Center for the Central Coast region, one of about 20 sites across the state dedicated to helping travelers discover regional highlights. This one had several brochure racks and an employee who could answer questions about the area, although it was out of the official 2021 California Visitor's Guide, which is always a nice read. Our other favorite store in the outlet mall was its As Seen On TV store, home to dozens of shelves' worth of products you'd find in Paid Programming, Brookstone, and the former SkyMall magazine. We had visited this particular store several years ago as family and remembered having a fun time looking at the unusual items in the store; it's worth a quick stop if you visit the outlet mall, if only just to decide what you think is the strangest product! All in all, the outlet mall made for a nice diversion as we waited for our bus back to San Luis Obispo. It's definitely a smaller mall, taking up just one story of a mid-sized parking lot, and it might be hard to justify a trip if you're only coming for the shops, but the Welcome Center and stores are wide enough in selection you can definitely spend some time if you visit.Visited July 2021Written July 17, 2021
- Chris FSan Luis Obispo, California22 contributionsYawn -- another so-called outlet mall, like all the rest. Strip mall with a big parking lot.Nothing special here. Same stores as all the other "outlet" malls. tores have a great view of the parking lot. Hi-price gasoline at hand, some chain and fast-food places. One store has a small sign on the glass by the door stating that some items are seconds ... but the prices are full-price! Would be more interesting to have an inlet mall, first in the USA.Visited March 2021Written April 16, 2021
- Travel the WorldSan Francisco, California1,128 contributionsFun Family StopoverOur family stops at this outlet when we are traveling through the Pismo Beach area. It is right off the freeway and easy to get to. We have always found great prices and selection. They have major brand names with good size selections. They also have some fun restaurants near by so you can fill up your afternoon shopping and eating together. Enjoy!Visited October 2019Written April 17, 2020
- Roberts69Northampton, United Kingdom18,220 contributionsGood Outlet for a relatively small town like Pismo Beach.I stumbled across this Outlet Mall after having breakfast at Huckleberry's in Pismo Beach. It is not a big Outlet Mall but there is a good selection of shops including some big brands like Tommy Hilfiger, CK, Polo, Skechers, Coach and a few others. I made a few purchases in CK and Tommy Hilfiger and got some real bargains. Worth a visit if staying in Pismo Beach for sure.Visited March 2020Written March 15, 2020
- Linda COakland, California40 contributionsGreat new storeWe have been coming here at least annually since this outlet center was built. The newest sports store, ProImage is the best one we have been to. Other good stores are the Levi store, Hot Topic, Kate Spade, Vans, Rocky Mountain Chocolate and Dress Barn. I wish they would add an Ann Taylor, Auntie Annes pretzels, Nautica and a New Balance.Visited June 2019Traveled with familyWritten July 5, 2019
- IanGallBelfast, United Kingdom66 contributionsWorth a look aroundWe called in during our recent visit to Pismo Beach - right beside the Quality Inn where we were staying but there is plenty of free parking. Prices in certain stores cheaper than at home in Belfast and good bargains to be had in stores like Guess, Kate Spade and Tommy Hilfiger (plus other stores I had never heard of before!).Visited August 2019Traveled with familyWritten August 5, 2019

- RCashmore36 contributionsGreat findsThis is quite a small outlet but we managed to find a couple of bargains. We spent about an hour or so here. In Calvin Klein purchased underwear and bags with 50 % off, also because we joined their outlet online we had an extra 20% off. We had bargain bags for $50 instead of $130! In Guess purchased a cute rucksack and purse. Great reductions on clothes too. In Converse some bargains at 50% off. I suppose it depends what you are looking for!Visited August 2018Traveled with familyWritten August 14, 2018
- Daniel CLos Angeles, California156 contributionsThis place is a waste of timeThere are only a couple dozen stores and there aren't any bargains to be found. These aren't true outlet stores - this is just a shopping center. And a crappy one. Your time is better spent at one of the area's other shopping centers or in Arroyo Grande "old town" or in San Luis Obispo downtown. Don't waste your time on this place.Visited December 2016Traveled with friendsWritten December 19, 2016

We were travelling the pacific highway 2 days before Christmas and wanted to go to an outlet mall that would not be too big and busy. This was great size mall to stop at just off the highway with plenty of parking. We are a family with two teenagers and we all found things to buy. Well worth a visit if you like a smaller outlet mall. Would recommend.

Easy access, ample parking, and all the standard names for an outlet mall: Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Haines/Bali, Dress Barn, , etc.

Can you park an RV at this shopping centre?

On weekends the parking lot is very busy and you might have problems finding a double space to put the rig into. I don't believe there is street parking on Five Cities Drive in front of the outlets.
But I believe you probably get into the lot Mon-Thurs and Friday mornings.
Note: Google maps satellite view shows some large truck size spaces in the back. I've never been back there to see it myself, so don't know if it's reserved for trucks only.
