We couldn't walk out on the Pier because it is being worked on. Downtown is fun and very busy with lots of little cafes and shops.

Splash Cafe just one block up from the pier has the BEST clam chowder on the planet. They won the clam chowder cookoff 10 years in a row and stopped entering. Don't bother with the bread bowl...just order the next size... More
