Okay. It is a pier, not Versaille. A nice long walk onto El Pacifico. Our visit was a foggy morning and we could not have been happier.

Simple wooden pier, which is a great vantage point to watch, whales, dolphins and surfers. Great to fish from or just to promenade and see the sunrise or sunset!

This is something you need to do at some point if you really want to say you've been to Pismo Beach. The view back towards the beach and town will stick with you and don't mind the smell of the ocean or those "pesky" pelicans and seagulls hanging around the place. If you have kids, this is a MUST DO!!... More

From the end of the pier we could see a pod of whales. It was so breathtaking. I do think the pier would be a great spot for a nice bistro.

The 1,370-foot-long, 40-to-100-foot-wide wooden pier gives you some good views of the ocean and the shore. There were some people fishing and quite a few surfers near the pier when we were there (around 7 pm on a Sunday in September). The streets around the pier have a cheap, amusement park, "Venice Beach" vibe: lots of tattoos, street musicians, families,... More

Even though it was windy and cool the pier was great. While walking we saw Dolphins and a Otter feeding on shell fish. Also, on Wednesday's there's a farmers market in the afternoon which was excellent. When your in Pismo Beach this is a must 👍

Always a great time to experience a pier at the ocean. People friendly and always a great scene even with the power of the ocean. Scenery awesome. A must when experiencing God's wonder

The Pier is worth the time to walk out and enjoy the view. There are 2 things to watch out for. First are whales. We saw several whales not far off the edge of the pier. The second thing to watch out for is your step. The wood is fairly old and some of our steps felt "soft" but it's... More
