In a small tasting room amidst the vineyard, Navarro has more upscale wines than most Anderson Valley wineries. No fee. No limit on number of wines sampled. The drawback is that the limited physical space constricts the number of pourers, and that means you wait, and that it gets crowded.

I do not drink, so the whole Anderson Valley experience is sort of lost on me. But that being said, many wineries in the area do offer a non-alcoholic choice. Navarro is no exception. They do offer 2 types of grape juice, and you can sample them, just like the others tasting the wines. I am no expert on grape... More

We've loved Navarro for decades, pausing as we drive up & down the CA coast between the Bay Area & Mendocino and beyond. Usually traveling with our heat-sensitive English Bulldog, we appreciate being able to taste wines while she cools off on the Tasting Room floor. Thoughtful amenities include clean restrooms for humans & fenced in grassy area for pets.... More

We stopped at this vineyard after having received a complimentary bottle of their Chardonnay at our hotel. We tasted several of their wines - their staff was very personable and helpful in explaining their wines and club membership options. The building and landscaping are outstanding and are surrounded by vineyard stretching up the hillsides. A great wine-tasting stop with excellent... More

We stopped by for a tasting. The staff were very friendly and we sampled about 6 wines each. My preference is for whites and they had a good range from dry to very sweet, so there is something to appeal to everyone. One of the best parts about Navarro is that they have a nice relaxing place to sit and... More

Navarro Vineyards. Is a beautiful stop on HWY128. They have nice grounds and are a excellent place for a picnic. Enjoy a bottle of wine with a great view.

Excellent vineyard tour and tasting at one of the early Anderson valley wineries! We made 10:30 reservations and David walked us around the family estate with a great wine tasting. Tip: don't miss the relaxing chairs overlooking the vineyard next to the arbor.

Bring lunch, blankets (or snag one of the 15 covered picnic tables) and enjoy this BEAUTIFUL view at Navarro Vineyards. The staff was so helpful with the tasting and for providing options for us to ship wine back home. We enjoyed their Gewürztraminer wine. It was a must try!

This is one of my favorite wineries that we visited in Anderson Valley. First, the tasting is free so there is no risk (other than your time). Second, you can taste as many wines as you want. I had 13. Third, all of the wines are really good and reasonably priced, so you can feel good about buying your favorites.... More

Although the tasting room is small, they do have a patio area and beautiful grounds. You can purchase some wine, cheese and crackers at Navarro Vineyards and have a picnic. They are dog-friendly too.
