Worth stopping for a taste

One of the best of the CA champagne-style wine makers--you can try their whole range and likely learn something as well as pick up a bottle or 2 for your next toast.

Long gone are the days of free tastings, but the fee here is lower than you'd pay at other sparkling wine producers (e.g. Sonoma/Iron Horse is $25). We paid $6 for a selection of different sparkling wines, and the pour size was decent. The tasting room is inside - great when the weather is bad/cold - with good seating areas... More

Had a great tasting experience with our host who was 82 years young! Just delightful and the champagne was wonderful too!

We arrived at the very end of harvest and there were workers everywhere. The tasting room here is beautiful and they have a lovely area outside where you can sit and enjoy a nice glass of wine. We enjoyed our visit to Roederer.

Roederer is one of my stops when I visit Anderson Valley. They have excellent sparkling wines and a couple of still wines. The tasting fee is $6 per person with half of it refunded with a bottle purchase. The tasting room is nice and the people are friendly. If you enjoy sparkling wine, this is the place to taste.

This is a beautiful location and there's the most beautiful and expansive view of Anderson Valley. Their tastings are so delicious, too!

Well, it IS dog friendly but not inside. I was with a friend who has a service dog. We actually only wanted to buy a glass of the Roederer Brut to sit outside and celebrate a birthday. As soon as we walked in the server said no dogs allowed, even service dogs, as the owner is allergic. She was nice... More

I work in the wine industry and have a slightly different perspective than most visitors. We happened to be in the area and stopped by on a whim. I would recommend trying Roederer; very nice, helpful and knowledgeable tasting room staff, a range of products so there is something for everyone (...and their budgets), and it has a lovely setting.... Beautiful grounds and location, Roederer never disappoints. Making some of the best sparkling wines in the state and the country. Even better is that they are reasonably priced for their quality. I won't review the wines here but we took home 4 magnums. The NV brut is a great go to wine for everyday events or special occasions. Their hospitality... More

One of the many in Anderson Valley. The winery known for it's sparkling wines. Tastings for a fee. Grounds are well kept. Room was large. Tasting offers five sparkling choices. Staff was pleasant and on point. Described all offerings well. We elected for one tasting to share. We both enjoyed much so. Sparkling offerings were on price point with tasting.... More
