Our host Chris was absolutely wonderful. He is knowledgeable about Handley wines, their production, the family history, and the amazing south eastern art that is displayed in the tasting room. He customized the wine tasting for us and made it an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend that you plan a stop at Handley Cellars if you are in the... More

We are so glad we stopped here but wish it was our first instead of our last as we made our way up to Mendocino along Hwy 128. Steven was our server and he was so down to earth, knowledgeable and someone who truly enjoyed his job. We had multiple tastings of their unique offerings at no charge. The 2013... More

Handley Cellars has an nice tasting room and shop, but also a nice patio area where you can relax. We especially loved their whites. We were traveling with our dog and they are very dog-friendly. Max laid at our feet while we tasted wine.

This was a winemakers dinner during Pinot festival, $75 per person, invitation via email and with wine club mailing, which we decided to do since we do the wine club and order several additional cases per year. We were not greeted nor welcomed. You just went to the bar for a glass were served with a few appetizers and discarded.... More

I really love Handley Cellars. I had a membership here for a couple of years. They make great wines and throw great events for members such as the summer BBQ. I also got to learn about wine making from Alisa who was a great host every time we visited. Also just in general, Anderson Valley is way nicer then Napa... More

Stopped here at the end of our self guided tour. Free tastings of a great lineup of wines. Friendly interaction with staff and great prices on wine.

The winery itself is gorgeous, with eclectic art inside and a cozy outdoor seating area overlooking the vineyard. Their wines are unique and delicious, and they offer a free tasting of their selection. I was so impressed by my interaction with the woman who offered me the tasting- she was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, but most of all- unpretentious. My interaction... More

Always love the friendly faces and the awesome white wines at this family owned winery. It's a must stop. Fun non-wine items for sale too. Easy to have wine shipped home.

Handley has been around for years and makes a broad spectrum of wines. Their Gewürz is a tad sweet and very aromatic, a definite buy. Three Pinot Noirs, each one very fine; we bought one. And a Sauvignon Blanc with some Sémillon that is in a screw cap but would be better with some age, still a fine choice for... More

Handley is our favorite vineyard in Anderson Valley. The service here is phenomenal! When you join the wine club you feel like family. On the day of our most recent visit (Dec 13, 2015), we shot hoops in the cellar with the some of the team! Oh, and we did some barrel tasting as well. Wine club members can also... More
