We went to see the art at the Petaluma Art Center. There are many unique larger size pieces outside the museum. There is also other art to see. Parking is free. It is by the Visitor Center for Petaluma.

This is a nice example of turning the old railroad station into a useful art and craft center. Adjacent to the SMART terminal, they have a rotating display of local artists worth seeking out. There are memberships available for continuous access or simply pay as you go. Staffed by friendly volunteers.…

The Petaluma Arts Center is located in the former train station and has very nice artwork from the local populace which, I understand, is always changing (the art, not the people). The lady at the desk was very friendly and welcoming.
