This is where anyone who is remotely interested in gardening should visit. There are seeds for more varieties of herbs, flowers and vegetables than I ever imagined existed. This is a resource for heirloom varieties, sustainable agriculture, and homesteading. The information about the seeds is carefully detailed in their gorgeous full color catalog. In addition to the seeds, there are... More

Lots of seeds and things to go with growing said seeds. Very interesting. You can find almost any seed your looking for here it seems. They also have ladybug houses which I'd never seen before.

The building itself is beautiful and cool to look around in, but the seeds are the best part. Rare varieties and heirlooms galore. I can't wait to put them in the ground. They also have a wealth of resources on urban gardening, organic methods, and any niche agricultural idea you might be contemplating. If you love your garden like I... More

Out of carrot seeds-wanted small fingerlings. Had a lot of different varieties of certain flowers and vegetables. Nice building architecture as well. Downtown location with restaurants and antiques

If you truly want a unique garden this is the place to go. They have varieties you probably never heard about in addition to the ones you have. Heirlooms in vegetables and plant varieties that would make your garden the point of envy. I couldn't believe the selection available at the Seed bank. Located just off Washington blvd. in Petaluma... More

A beautiful bank with marble floors and high ceilings that house a huge selection of seeds, books, local honey and jams, tools and information on local events. Plan to spend some time there as there is a basement too.

We were exploring Petaluma on our first visit. At first we thought it was a bank. It used to be a bank and the building is classic Victorian stone architecture. It was Memorial day on they were open. They had over 1200 different seeds that were well organized. The staff was knowledgable and helpful.

This place has a huge selection of seeds, but know what grows in your area before going there. This place is good for experienced gardeners/growers.

We went there just to look around and enjoyed our visit. A seebank set up in an old bankbuilding is a fabulous idea and we likes watching all the different types of basil, cilantro tomatos ans flowerseeds. Worth to take a stop

This is the place to go when you are planning your own garden. Hands down the best selection of non GMO heritage seeds and information. People travel from all over to shop here. The selection is incredible. The people passionate and knowledgeable. You will walk out with seeds, education, and hope.
