Lovers of the legendary Northern California Rock-n-Roll vibe flock to the Mystic Theater for the live acts, the funky cannabis flavored atmosphere, and to rub shoulders with other hard-core fans of that day's marquee entertainer. As much of a Rock-n-Roll temple as it is a theatrical venue, The Mystic hosts top acts from all over the world.

This is a wonderful venue to see live music at an affordable price. The old style auditorium has pretty good acoustics and a fun crowd is usually in attendance. Decent lineup of cover bands along with up and coming artists. Worth checking out.

Love this venue and luckily the location is walking distance to everything else that's happening in downtown Petaluma. The show we paid to see was a waste of money. The first hint was by the lack of attendance. The second hint was the fact that the 90's band started later than advertised when buying tickets, and third hint - they sang wrong lyrics a few times. It was a mess. My recommendation is to go here for the good size dance floor if you know for certain that the band doesn't suck.

Going to the Mystic is like re-living the days of music at different venues all over the bay area. Most of them small like the mystic. Up close and loud .If you like to watch a guitarist up close you can as well as any band members. I like that feeling more than dancing. Very cool plase for music and hang out. Always run into some one you know.

Dinner and drinks at McNear's is a great pre-show stop before a shoe at the Mystic Theater. The historic venue is attached and there's a "secret" entrance from the restaurant to the floor of the venue for patrons. Food was good and there's a nice selection of taps and cocktails. A great part of the Mystic Theater experience.
