Our original trip to Paso Robles, in May, was cancelled due to Covid. So we decided to do a side trip on the way to the beach! Ok it might have been a 9hr detour, but it was totally worth it! We were seated in comfy chairs under the trees and it was so peaceful and relaxing! We’ve enjoyed Brecon at home many times, but it was so much better tasting it at their vineyard! We enjoyed all the wines and added to our collection! All the employees were so friendly and welcoming! It was a wonderful time and we can’t wait to return on our May trip redo. (Without kids😉)

This was a very nice experience with Vanessa, a recent Cal Poly SLO grad, as our server. She seemed to know the wines very well. We were able to sit outside at a covered picnic table with sun or shade, depending which you wanted. We had brought our lunch from Jeffry's in downtown Paso and were able to eat it during the tasting. We had three well-behaved dogs and that was not a problem for them at all. There is a lovely frame as you get to the winery so be sure to have your photo taken there.

It was a nice quaint place, dog friendly, not a huge view, great staff, wine was decent. Nice court yard.

We visited here on the recommendation of a server at another winery. I am thinking their must be a connection between the two because we were quite disappointed. This is the only winery out of 6 we visited that we did not buy a bunch of wine. The servers were basically pourers and spoke very little about the wine. The wines were also very non-descript, especially compared to the others that we had tasted over the weekend

Thank you so much for you feedback, we are indeed independent and family owned. The majority of our customers have come from recommendations from other wineries. So much so that we have been quite taken aback by our popularity particularly on weekends. Perhaps it has something to do with every wine we are currently pouring having 90+ points, some with 96's. We have employed additional wine enthusiasts to help provide the best customer service possible. Some of these are still in training. However either Amanda or Damian Owner/winemaker are usually on hand to answer more in depth questions.

Welsh owner Damian and Australian wife Amanda bubble with enthusiam about the Paso wine region. Damian having made wine across the globe and also for big corporates in California has decided to make wines in this region which have a slight more European angle. The tasting room is modern and opens overlooking greenery, so that indoor and outdoor wine tasting is possible. Hard to say what the signature wine is, as Damian selects grapes from various hill tops around the region. Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Petite Syrah are all excellent. Worth a visit to taste quality wines that have a slightly different angle. Also nice being hosted by the couple and discussing world wine styles and even caves that Amanada has reserached.

Went here on recommendation of staff at Epoch Winery ... and they did not lead us wrong. Small, cute place run by a delightful couple (he's Welsh, she's Aussie) who are making fine wines. Brecon specializes in syrahs, but I preferred the mouvedres, with their earthier undertones.

Part of touring the Paso Robles area and a winery not to be missed. We had a great tasting but their wines are pricey. We did buy a couple of bottles.

Beautiful property and friendly staff; stopped in for a tasting on our honeymoon and loved all the wines we tasted; knowledgeable staff helped us learn plenty, and we couldn't walk away without shipping home a half case; will happily return on our next trip!
