About Wine Wrangler - Day Tours
After residing in Paso Robles for a decade, Coy and Sarah Barnes turned their passion for wine, entertaining, and the rural countryside into a thriving little tour company called “The Wine Wrangler”. The Wine Wrangler was created on August 3, 2004 as Paso Robles’ first, authentic wine tour company. Within a year the couple wanted to create an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the Paso Robles wine tasting experience throughout the year, in the comfort of their own homes. They created the first and only wine club featuring Paso Robles wines and took their family business to whole new level. Coy, an educator and winemaker, grows his own zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon, and syrah on the family’s property in Paso Robles. When he’s not escorting visitors through the wine country, he’ll be rustling up wines from some of his favorite Paso Robles wineries and sharing them with the world through his Paso Robles Wine Club. Our greatest pleasure is to help people from out of the area to discover the diversity and finesse of Paso Robles wines. Coy & Sarah Barnes

A Wine Wrangler tour is a great way to spend a day or 1/2 day in Paso Robles. Not only do they give you a guided tour of Paso and a few wineries, you also have the opportunity to learn about the wine-making process and the history of wine-making in the area by a knowledgeable tour guide as they drive you through the beautiful countryside. This tour was my third with Wine Wrangler and I will definitely do it again. On this tour, we visited the gorgeous grounds of Sculptura and Cass wineries. The owner of Wine Wrangler, Coy, is a great guide and teacher and we really enjoyed getting to know more about his business and Paso Robles. Give this tour a try - you won’t regret it!

Our tour guide Tony Panchenko picked us up promptly from our hotel and we could tell immediately that this was going to be a good time. He has a warm, welcoming personality and was very knowledgeable about the area. He was able to answer our questions regarding wine storage and the aging process. The wineries that we visited were pleasant and gave generous pours, the lunch that was provided was delicious as well. I would highly recommend taking this tour and would recommend Tony as your guide.

We really enjoyed our wine tasting tour. Tony was our driver and he was very knowledgeable about the different wines in the area. My husband and I were the only people that day so it felt like a personal tour. Due to the Covid-19 circumstances, there weren’t many people out there which made us feel safe. The wineries all had outdoor seating and were very clean and had safe distances between tables. I would absolutely recommend this tour. We loved Paso Robles and will definitely be back! Thank you Tony for all the great recommendations!
