After residing in Paso Robles for a decade, Coy and Sarah Barnes turned...

After residing in Paso Robles for a decade, Coy and Sarah Barnes turned their passion for wine, entertaining, and the rural countryside into a thriving little tour company called “The Wine Wrangler”. The Wine Wrangler was created on August 3, 2004 as Paso Robles’ first, authentic wine tour company. Within a year the couple wanted to create an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the Paso Robles wine tasting experience throughout the year, in the comfort of their own homes. They created the first and only wine club featuring Paso Robles wines and took their family business to whole new level. Coy, an educator and winemaker, grows his own zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon, and syrah on the family’s property in Paso Robles. When he’s not escorting visitors through the wine country, he’ll be rustling up wines from some of his favorite Paso Robles wineries and sharing them with the world through his Paso Robles Wine Club. Our greatest pleasure is to help people from out of the area to discover the diversity and finesse of Paso Robles wines. Coy & Sarah Barnes

Such a fun time with the wine wrangler! Our host was very knowledgeable of the wineries and even took us on a last minute barrel tasting stop.

You can do tastings and Hearst Castle too!! Paulie our personal tour guide knew much about wine, Hearst , zebras , elephant seals among other things. His attentiveness and taking care of us made this a enjoyable time since I didn't have to plan it out. My husband and I were happy to leave the driving to Paulie. My highlight... More

Had a full day touring wineries with Dane from Wine Wranglers. We toured Castoro Cellars, Midnight Cellars, Rota Winery, Hammer Sky Vineyards, Tolo Cellars, and Lone Madrone Winery. Safe, on time, lunch overlooking vineyards, and congenital recommendations for dinner.

Great day and tour of 6 mostly small wineries. Dave, the tour guide, asked us what kind of tour we wanted and he accommodated. Beautiful scenery, friendly conversation, and some of the best wines in the U.S.

Just spent a great day touring 4 wineries in the Paso Robles area. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. The wineries he selected were matched to our individual tastes and interests. Tour included lunch, and tastings were free. A most enjoyable day.

This was the only way to enjoy a glass or 2 of wine and a nice lunch on top of it. Everyone was ready to have a fun afternoon and that is what we did along with 3 other couples. Our driver was super nice with information about the local area he set up lunch for us at one of... More

We had a wonderful day in Paso Robles. Our driver Tony was so knowledgeable of the wineries as well as the wine in general. He took us to some really great places that we will definitely be returning to. My husband isnt the biggest wine fan so he ended our trip at a brewhouse, which he loved. Tony was such... More

My husband and I did the Half Day Afternoon wine tour. Dave was our guide and did a great job! We made some new friends and tried some great off the beaten path wineries. We got the perfect mix of big well-known wines and small family-owned places. I would highly recommend this tour and if you get Dave just think... More
