I first visited in 2005 and still have some of their old wines. The older facility is not fancy, but offers a very relaxed environment. Our last experience of three days did not have wines that were extraordinary compared to the fancier places, but by-the-case prices were available at the time of our visit starting at $8.25 per bottle, and back at home, we are enjoying them as everyday drinking wines. Much of their business is production services for other local vineyards. If you are on a budget and want to bring home a lot of wine, go here. If you want to have a picnic and room for kids to run around, go here. You will not be disappointed.

Midnight Moon was included on our wine tour but hadn’t really moved the dial for us when we researched it. We were pleasantly surprised. They was a lot of outside seating with large picnic tables and shade scattered throughout the grounds. It would be a perfect spot for a picnic!
The woman that helped us was so nice. She paid attention to detail to what we liked and offered tastings to fit our pallet. The wines were really good!

I went there on a recommendation from a local and it was worth it. Caysi was the person who captained the tasting and made it very relaxing with no pressure to purchase anything which was wonderful. She was down to earth and explained things in such a way it was easy to understand everything wine. Fantastic experience! I would stop by again.

Meghan, the sommelier, was fantastic. She spent time explaining the vineyard and the wines to us. Since I like reds, she tailored the tasting to my preference.
We were there on a Friday afternoon and just being able to sip wine on the back patio and relax was just wonderful.
I highly recommend

Visited on a free wine tasting coupon. Would have not strayed that far off the mail road had I not had these free tastings. Worth the rather short extra drive. Charming hostess, great wines and atmosphere in the tasting room. This winery is the perfect example of why you leave the main road!

We visited here because our fave restaurant back home has their private label wines blended and bottled here. Casey (sorry if I spelled it wrong) the tasting hostess was awesome! Knowledgeable, warm, and fun, so we hope Rich (the owner/winemaker) appreciates her. We enjoyed all the wines, but the Full Moon Red would definitely be our house red if Indiana didn’t have such archaic laws about shipping wine. We are trying to figure out a way to bypass the system though. Take a little trip off the beaten path to try their wines - you won’t be sorry!

First thing that I enjoyed, the cat, Chardonnay, greeting us at the door! I bought a bottle of Full Moon, which was my favorite! Beautiful labels, too!

We have been going to this winery for three years now and each visit gets better. Staff is awesome and the winemaker is so fun. You can tell he truly loves what he does and has a ball doing it. We will be going back this fall during the harvest festival to enjoy their evening party. So looking forward to the next visit

My hub & I have been visiting Paso Robles since 1998, yet somehow we had never visited this winery until our Dec. 2012 trip. Wow! This is old Paso at its best: it is one of the earliest established wineries, with fantastic wines at all price points. The staff is friendly, unpretentious and very hospitable.
We were steered here by another winery, and were so glad they did! Although it is just off the 46 west, there is no signage on the highway. You need to look for Dark Star to find the road it is on (Anderson). It is right next door.
We tasted a fine array of wines, and they even let us bring our friendly dog into the tasting room. The rosé was one of the best we have tasted, and a bargain at $11/bottle. We couldn't resist joining their wine club. Club members are rewarded handsomely once/year with a fab 40% discount on cases. Loved their blends especially.
Add this winery to your must-visit list!

We stopped by for a tasting and the wine and service here is excellent. All of their estate wine is top notch. We visited several other wineries nearby and this was far and away our favorite!
