Family-run winery, beautiful grounds (perfect for a picnic!) and a lovely tasting room. They only produce Pinot Noir, so it's fascinating to do a vertical tasting of Pinots from 6 years in a row!

My sister and I enjoyed it there this afternoon. Justin was very friendly and was very happy to recommend other wineries when we asked him!😁

Stopped by Windward toward the end of the day and what a super finish. The vertical flight tasting was $10 and I liked every single one. The passion shows as talk and discussion lead to some special tasting. Super friendly staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend...More

A short distance north of Hwy 46W, Windward has been producing consistently good pinots for years. We've found them best enjoyed within 5-6 years as the style produced tends to diminish after that. However they are very nice and still a good value, especially if...More

This is an exclusive Pinot Noir wine tasting location. They offer great tastings at a reasonable price. Since we were also celebrating our 48 years together the hostess Heather offered us 2 of their beautiful wine goblets for free. This is a place to try...More

Windward has the best Pinot Noir in Paso Robles and at a very reasonable price when comparing to other comparable pinots. The first time we tried their wines we had to join the club so have been members for several years now. Recently they began...More
