JUSTIN Winery is family owned and operated, and makes estate grown and produced wines. The property was founded in 1981 by Justin and Deborah Baldwin when they planted their 160 acre property to the major Bordeaux varietals and created their Estate vineyard. It is located in the Paso Robles appellation of California’s Central Coast. Their desire is to make world class wines that reflect the unique soils and climate of their California Central Coast property.

We are members of ten wine clubs, but not this one. It is located a scenic Paso Robles location, but the gentleman pouring the wine for tasting was far from friendly. He was certainly too aloof to work in that capacity. And, when we mentioned we were members of other local wine clubs, he was not at all interested. You... More

Per the birthday boy's request, we took the cave tours of Justin's winery. We started the tour in the original area wine tasting area. The tour guide gave great information about Justin's beginnings up to the present time. Unfortunately, the tour guide loves to chat which brought a slight lull to the presentation. What I thought was a nice touch... More

Although we enjoyed our visit to Justin in February 2016, we have since come to realize they have a history of clear cutting native trees, mostly irreplaceable old growth oak trees. Recently this included "hundreds" to "thousands" of trees on Justin owned property off of Sleepy Farm Road. Previously in 2011, 17,000 trees including 15,000 oak trees were clear cut... More

Great winery to stop at. Have lunch there and the tour is free. Interesting that the locals resent the new ownership and find them not as conservation friendly as they pretend to be. Call ahead to reserve a spot for lunch. Food is good, as is the tour. Feels more like Napa or Sonoma though.

Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful and stayed with us pretty much the whole time, although it wasn't particularly crowded. We didn't do the cave or vineyard tours. My husband enjoys pinot noir and I drink only whites, however, we did manage to walk out with more than a few bottles of wine!!! I gave Justin Vineyards a 3... More

Justin has a couple of things going for it: beautiful surroundings and decent wine. Now for the negatives - they are a corporate concern, owned by Fiji Water; and as such don't really care whether or not you show up. They have proven themselves to be terrible neighbors to the surrounding community and the environment. They have proven themselves only... More

The wine tasting in the cave is the best. Nice and cool when it is hot outside. The vineyards are gorgeous to walk around. Romantic up on the hill top when no one is around.

The drive to Justin is a relaxing trip thru the rolling hills out side of Paso Robles. Don't get in a rush and it will help start a wonderful journey to wine country. The staff is friendly and of course the wine is outstanding. I would make it either my first stop or my last because most other tastings will... More

The winery and vineyard is deep in the hill country and is absolutely stunning. Wonderful staff and of course, great wine. Nice shop and a great patio area to enjoy the views and the weather.

We stopped by on Sunday afternoon and were served by Gregory. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and really enjoyable to talk with. All the wines were good with their Isoceles being the stand-out wine of the afternoon. So delicious!!
