Daou is a great comparison as to the differences between Napa and Paso wineries -- Paso wineries seem to be located up higher and have stunning views, while Napa is down in the valley floor. Don't get me wrong, both locations are fantastic and we like both -- probably Napa wines a bit more... Daou has a wonderful location and... More

We arrived at this vineyard on Hidden Mountain Road and it was well worth the short drive from downtown skipping all the mainstream wine tasting venues. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah were delicious. Would happily buy a crate load of bottles if we lived in the US! Definitely recommend if you want interesting history and stories behind the wines, wonderful... More

This is a relatively young vineyard that is family owned. The wine tasting experience is lovely, we were hosted by the daughter of the owner which was a lovely touch. The wines were great, we went for the estate tasting ($45) samples as opposed to the reserve ($30). We also had a cheese plate as they provide great food options.... More

Spectacular location, good but not exceptional wines, marketed at very premium prices... It depends on what you want...

Take the time to visit the beautiful winery and taste their wines. They offer outstanding wines and the servers provide very good explanations of the grape varieties. Enjoy the wines with the cheese or charcuterie plate go outside at the tables and chairs to see the mountains and views. It is well worth your time and expense. It is very... More

We stopped here , because everyone that has been here tells you to go. And they didn't lie. We walked in without appointment ( and it was a slow Tuesday), were greeted bet the tasting room staff and then Alejandro took us on a tasting/history trip about the winery for the next 2 plus hours Just awesome, the setting is... This is such an amazing winery. They have the most breathtaking view. They offer small platters of cheese and breads and I recommend buying a couple of bottles of wine ordering some platters and sit outside. Don't miss out on the delicious olive oil.

Our friends who are members of this wine club took us here for wine tasting. It is located on top of a hill with a lovely view all around. The wine was good and the person helping us gave us large pours. We will go back!

We reserved the lunch and wine pairing. So glad we did! The patio overlooks the vineyard and is very pretty. Our server Jenny was friendly and accommodating. The food is not cooked to order however, they can combine menu options for any dietary restrictions.

I have to agree with the other reviews about customer service. Need some improvement. I gave four stars for the view, not the service. Fantastic views all around.
