About
Vines on the Marycrest is truly a boutique winery specializing in award winning, small-production Zinfandel and Rhone varietals and blends that reflect the Paso Robles appellation. In current release are Roussanne, Rose of Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and four unique red rhone blends. Tastes are poured in the winery among the barrels with the owners/winemakers. Mid-Century pottery and paintings are on display and for sale as well.

This was my second visit here and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. Victor and Jenny are super fun, friendly hosts. I absolutely love their Syrah!!
It’s a small boutique winery which makes it even better.

Cute, quaint winery

This winery was recommended to us by a couple in Paso who was also spending the weekend doing some wine tasting. We tried it out and were pleasantly surprised. The tasting bar is cozy, but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

This place is great. Definitely unique and different than the other wineries around paso. Victor and Jenni are super nice and their wines are to die for! I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to everyone! Try the Heart of Glass and the rose wines!

Do not miss this winery

Had just visited Chronic Cellers and one person in our party noticed the small open sign. And we were lucky that she did!

After meeting the owner and winemaker, we proceeded to spend the next couple of hours learning about and tasting some excellent wines.

We left feeling that we had learned a lot and had a great wine tasting experience. Back at home we are still enjoying the bottles we purchased.

We hope to return soon.

a little bit of a fiasco with the Central Coast Wine Passport and Groupon (long story !) but having the Passport made it easier to figure out which wineries to visit on our maiden trip to Paso Robles !

We saved Whalebone and Vines on the Marycrest for the second day, mostly due to their location. Little did we know that we had saved the best for last !

We liked Victor's enthusiasm for wine making and his desire to try different things. We liked how he mixes both his interests as a wine maker with the interests of his wine club members. And most of all, we liked the wines !

We had a good chat about wines and wineries in the area and drank a lot of good wine. At the end, even though we belong to three other wine clubs, we decided to sign up here. Hopefully we'll be able to drive down and pick up the fall shipment !! (and a lot of amenities for wine club members besides great wine at a good price !!)

PS as is common with the wineries in the area, there is a tasting fee but don't let that put you off ...... I believe the fee is waived if you buy wine and there is such a big selection, I'm sure you'll find something to buy and take home :-)

We always enjoy tasting and purchasing the terrific California Rhone-style wines at Vines on the Marycrest.
The owners are very friendly and always enjoy our help in the crush pad at harvest time.
And, they'd love to have you stop by, taste their wines and join their club as we have.
The tasting fee is waived if you buy a bottle.

Victor makes some great old world style wines. The atmosphere is great and we had lots to chat about with him. High fives. Go for the wines, stay for the musical events.

Sal DeMauro from Central Coast Jeep Tour Adventures brought us to this place. On forehand he told us the great story about this man from LA having two lives and two jobs to fullfill his dream, his own winery. He succeeded! We had a really warm converstation with his wif Jenny about wines and our trip. We tasted a special little bit orange colored Viognier that was breathtaking! And also the blended red wines were contrary to what we thought about blended red wines, breathtaking!

Don't go to all the big places, visit Vines on the Marycrest and give our regards!
