Arrived at this local tasting room and kitchen which ironically we had never tried before on our visits to Paso. Ironically, it’s located directly adjacent to Sextant Winery which we were members of for many years. We made reservations for a late lunch however, it wasn’t busy and took a table with a view of the vineyards. Note, that this place is adjacent to Highway 46 West and the traffic noise can be annoying to some. We decided to share a Margarita flatbread and roasted Brussel sprouts which were very tasty and adequate to share. We recommend these dishes and would order them again if we revisit the Kitchen. For a light desert treat, highly recommend the. La Migliore cookies which were delicious. The only negative is the cost of the wine. We decided to choose the 2019 Watchtower and although it was good, it was overpriced at $60 in our opinion. You can also opt for a tasting or glass if you wish.

Wonderful, welcoming experience. We are traveling with our two dogs. As it was unseasonably warm we were uncomfortable leaving them in the car. The Manager overheard us discussing the issue and went out of his way to find us an amazing location for ourselves and our pups on the covered patio. They even had treats and water for our pets! Delicious wine paired with mini-cupcakes and served by a caring, knowledgeable staff made for a delightful stay. Winery was open until 7:00 pm on a Friday night.

Such a great family winery we have been members on and off since Grey Wolf formed and Joe & the Barton family and clan know what they are doing. Whether an intimate tasting or a big wine party they make you feel like family and are so accommodating. My wife uses a walker and they always accommodate or move us to where we feel comfortable and this last visit was no exception, moved a heater and seating for us away from the crowds and had a nice intimate friendly tasting. Can't wait for our next visit!

Ashlee and the rest of the crew made our lunch, wine tasting, and cocktail visit so very delightful! This family owned spot in the vineyards - Grey Wold, Barton Family, and Grain+Vine, offers a casual, easy going wine and spirits tasting experience where good people gather for good food and amazing drinks. Our take home haul included their Barton Family Simple Man Zin (can't wait to enjoy in a couple of years) and bottles of Grain + Vine Rum and Vodka (already opened and enjoying!). I'd say this is must-visit while in Paso.

Delicious lunch
We were looking for another place to eat but our GPS sent us astray and we landed here. We didn’t taste any wine but had a very yummy lunch and our server, Mark, was delightful. Friendly, attentive and helpful The loaded Mac & cheese and butternut squash soup were both top notch

Tasting the wine for the first time and I was delighted. We bought bottles to take home and will surely go back for more. I must compliment the chef on their braised short ribs. They were the best I’ve ever had.

We made reservations and were warmly received when we showed up. We sat at a nice table under the trees. Our wine server was amazing and brought us the wines to enjoy. One can keep the glass. They also gave one hand sanitizer.
For people who wanted, there was also food.
Overall it was a great wine tasting. Its a fun place to go.

Had a "date day" at Grey Wolf Cellars & Barton Family today. Never been there before and were surprised at the amount of outdoor seating. We didn't do the wine tasting but order up a bottle of 2021 Green Eyes (white wine) was very good. Also ordered lunch items. The Cheese Charcuterie was excellent, enough for two people. Thought we would go for the Italian Flatbread. It was good but I think we were full, so it wasn't special. Would do a return visit.

I cannot recommend this wonderful place enough when in the Paso Robles area. The fresh, local, organic fare is as delicious and special as their wines. Lisa was lovely and Megan next door at the Grain & Vine distillery is an absolute gem so do pop in there too for a shot or bottle or two of whiskey and bourbon.

Nice winery with some good wines.
Brice was our server for the tasting we did of Grey Wolf, Grey and Barton wines - 3 in 1 tasting! We sat out under the trees and watched the workers tying the vines during our tasting. The wines are good and you also get to keep your tasting logo glass. Food is also served here but we did not have any so cannot comment on that but the wine tasting was a good stop while in Paso.
