We love this winery. The views are amazing, the best in the area. The wine is very good and they sell it by the glass which is appreciated. They do provide food for sale also, or you can bring picnic.

Loved all the Reds at Calcareous. Phllippe poured our wines, and gave great tasting and pairing tips. He made us feel extremely welcome. Patio and view were amazing, and the patio area is pet friendly as well! Will definitely be coming back.

Enjoyed a wine tasting with a beautiful view on top of the mountain. Large new wine tasting area. Very friendly service. Enjoyed all the wines especially the reds. Wish we had brought a picnic. They do offer a cheese plate.

Calcareous Vineyard is so lovely. I love to take anyone that hasn't been. The showroom is really nice and the wines are really delicious and the staff are so very friendly! It's nice to buy a bottle and sit out and enjoy the view, and play some Bocce Ball. Stunning place to visit! You must go!!

Calcareous is seriously out in the middle of nowhere. You drive for miles and miles along a winding highway until you turn up the side of a mountain, but at the end of all that driving, you get to an oasis of great wines (ZSM, Moose, etc.) and food. They do cocktail events at night here, and they have fantastic... More

We drove to this lovely winery on a windy road, wondering the whole time if this was going to be worth the drive. IT WAS! The view was wonderful with a picnic area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and have a bite to eat. And the wine, OMG it is amazing. The whites are good but the... More

Calcareous has a tremendous view only surpassed by its hospitality. On our most recent visit, we were greeted almost immediately by Phillipe. We (a party of four) opted to sit outside and enjoy the view. This meant that Phillipe would have to come out to serve us. Even with an influx of guests, he managed masterfully to pour us wine... We have been members since opening. The wine is consistently great and the people are so friendly and knowledgeable. Great blends and a nice Chard. The view is killer, grab a glass, sit outside and enjoy one of their appetizers!!
