This was the second time I have visited this winery and it does not disappoint. It was fairly crowded this day, but they had several friendly people pouring and we never felt like we were being ignored. If you haven't been, the setting of the winery is stunning. There is a large outdoor patio where you can sit an enjoy... More

We visited the winery on a Wednesday morning(around 10AM) when it was too early for us, to start wine tasting. Just wanted to check out the grounds and return with a picnic lunch and to taste the wine and enjoy their grounds. Carl greeted us so warmly and invited us for a taste. When we explained it was just too... More

This is a must winery of the many greats you'll find in Paso Robles. Ask for Jaquie to pour you the wine and it will be a great experience. After your tasting, get a glass and pair it with their cheese table and drink/eat outside. Tip: check in on Yelp and you'll get a free tasting. Cheers!

Favorite winery in Paso Robles, hands down. The customer service can't be beat and the wines are, arguably, the best in the region. The view and relaxing atmosphere are added bonuses. We had a great VIP tasting and tour with Philippe this year and Karl in the tasting room year was so personable. We can't wait to come back!

The view here is amazing. It smells great too because of the lavender and other flowers/herbs planted. People are friendly and laid back - other groups brought their snacks and enjoyed Calcareous wine at the outside tables. Wines are delicious - my favorite is the Grenache. I bought the almond brittle too, and it's yummy!! Buy it here - another... More

I love Calcareous. Their wines are great (I am a member). The view is beautiful. I especially love Meg and Phillipe as they always take good care of us and our guests when we come in and they are a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this winery. I live in Paso Robles and have visited quite... More

We visited on Father's Day so there was a special BBQ option. We had a great time tasting wine and then shared a hamburger from the food vendor. The food was very good and we spent some time at the tables outside enjoying the view and another glass of wine. This was a highlight of our trip and we are... More

The view from the winery is beautiful. We enjoyed our tasting and felt like we were given lots of attention. The winery itself is very nice.

I am a member of this very fine winery. ALWAYS great wine, amazing views and setting, and superb staff. I spent Father's Day (afternoon) there. They had a BBQ. Sooooo disappointed! It was a cut below what I could have pulled off at home. Unlike their usual weekend food preparation, which is prepared on-site and is fresh and delicious, this... More

We got to the vineyard before the tasting room opened, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Afterwards spent about two hours with tasting room associate Karl, who cheerfully navigated us through the Calcareous offerings that consistently receive accolades with each vintage. Grenache Blanc, and Rhone style red blends are superb. Enjoying our wine club deliveries. Can't wait to go back.
