This vineyard sat a top a hill with an amazing view. The wines were excellent and the vineyard team was helpful. No complaints and will return on the next trip.

This vineyard was a highlight of our Paso Robles wine trip! It is situated atop a beautiful mountain with gorgeous views of the valley, vineyards, and the town of Paso below. The venue was pristine....beautiful picnic area and gardens of lavender and grasses....lots of seating/tables....More

I brought at group of about 17 people to calcareous on the fourth of July. Calcareous was extremely accommodating of our large group (we called in advance to make sure they could accommodate a large group I would advise you do so as well). They...More

Excellent wines and excellent service. We have been tasting wine in the area since 1997 and this winery is one of our favorite. We joined the Club this year and so far one of the best experiences in Paso. Excellent pick-up party. Food was really...More

We enjoyed most all of the wineries that we visited on our very short wine tasting trip. Calcareous had the most delicious wines out of all of them! The Vin Gris Cuvee and Kate's Zinfandel were the clear winners in my opinion!

One of the most beautiful tasting rooms in Paso with a wonderful patio overlooking the Salinas Valley as far as the eye can see. Friendly staff that will educate you on each wine on their tasting menu and usually offer you some wines that are...More

We had a great experience here! The wine tasting was a great selection and our host, Diamond, was knowledgeable and fun. The views are spectacular and the wines are great!

Gorgeous views and building. A really solid place to grab a glass of wine. We found the overall experience to be a bit too commercial. The wine was solid, but nothing especially interesting.

Title pretty much says it all. Can’t say enough good things about both the wines (Lloyd and Moose are favorites) or the views. Come grab a glass or bottle and sit outside and relax.

I have been to Calcareous many times over the last number of years, in the beginning searching for more of their delicious wines (which I initially tasted in a local restaurant). The views from their hilltop are some of the best in the county, and...More

As I recall, there is a sign asking for dogs to be kept off of the property. But as I do not have a dog, I could be wrong. There ARE snakes, and warning signs about them (I've never seen one), but no wine dog.
