About
Our tasting room is now open! Friday, Saturday & Sunday 11:00 am - 5:00pm Established in 2016. If you are wondering what Rails Nap means, it is an old English term referring to a small fenced plot of land on a hillside. We moved into our small plot in eastern hills of Paso Robles 3 years ago, we have been busy planting new vines and working hard to make this a destination for fun and, of course, seriously elegant wine. Be one of the first to taste what Rails Nap has to offer. We cannot wait to meet forever members and friends.

Terrific wine, beautiful facility and view, knowledgeable friendly service, and a very doable wine club. I have worked in various tasting rooms in Monterey County and I can seriously say this place rocks. The price point of the wines is fair, they have a nice variety of varietals and everything in well crafted, but not overtly so, they let the fruit speak more so than the winemakers tricks. They only do about 1000 cases or maybe less a year, not distributed outside the winery and club and on-line. After tasting the first three wines, and having Suzy show me she knows her stuff, I was mos' def' gonna join their club. DOnlt miss this place just cuz you probably never heard of it.

So glad we stopped here, it wasn't the top of our list. Our host on day 1 shared great conversation with us, we were the first there after opening. She suggested we have lunch at Cass, which is another great place. We really enjoyed speaking with her and the view is great! Wines were good and reasonably priced. We decided it was a good place to pick up a bottle of white and red before we left town to share once we got home. Looking forward to a return trip! I think the red blend we bought was the Archis (?) and a Chardonnay (mostly stainless steel).

The entire experience was out of this world...

A hidden gem in Paso Robles, this is a place you must visit. Spend a quiet afternoon soaking up the atmosphere, drinking the amazing wines. Pramod, the owner and Saul made it a afternoon I'll remember for the rest of my life. I went there during the California Superbloom and walk up the hillside was a sight for sore eyes.

The wines were good and worth the trip.

Must see and we will be back

Stopped while on a wine outing. A beautiful winery with charm. The 2016 Cabernet was one of the best in the area. A hidden gem on the East side
