About
Producer of Petite Sirah and Rhone-style blends from Westside Paso Robles, as well as Pinot Noir and aromatic white wines from the San Luis Obispo Coast. Since 2002, winemaker Aaron Jackson has devoted himself to unearthing the potential of vineyards surrounding his homeland of the Central Coast. Petite Sirah from the rugged limestone hillsides of Westside Paso Robles, and nervy, aromatic Whites and Pinot Noir from the chilly coast west of the Santa Lucia Mountains. The uniqueness of these places has driven us to produce wines that tell the stories of their terrior and the hands that make them.

We had not been to Tin City before, so we just randomly picked a wine tasting. We were so happy with the decision and the wines. Aaron's coastal pinots with the label Aequeora were delicious but his petitie syrahs stole the show. We bought several bottles and may order more online.

We stopped into the Aaron tasting room on the recommendation of Paula at nearby ONX (thank you Paula!) It was such a great find, and a wonderful way to wrap up our weekend in Paso. We were met by Gibson, the host at the tasting room, who made us feel welcome immediately. They have a lot of really impressive wines, including a couple of Pinot Noirs, which is unusual for the area (they source the grapes from cooler areas than Paso). The room is very comfortable, and they have some outside space as well (it was a bit warm, so we opted to be inside). Gibson told us a lot about the story of Aaron's journey into winemaking and, of course, a lot about the wines we were tasting. We grabbed a great Rhone blend and a really bold Cab blend that we are excited to have with steak later this summer.

Highly recommend and we will be back! Thank you!

Tucked into the labyrinth of Tin City is this treasure of a winery. The wines are delicious and tasting room manager Katie was very informative and friendly. Overall, a fantastic tasting experience.

Excellent Pinots and Rhone style wines. Tasting room was not up to standards of other wineries in Tin City.

My tasting at this winery was delightful. Katie was charming and genuinely interesting in telling me about the wine. The wines were so bold and tasty and Katie was able to explain each of them in such an informative manner. There are lots of laces in Tin City, but this should be one of your first choices!

Small central coast winery that offers unique pinots, red/RhĂ´ne blends, and a small amount of special white varietals. Red blends are RhĂ´ne style, bold and often centered around Petite Sirah. The Stand alone Petite is maybe the best I have ever tasted. Balanced, good fruit, and a wine that would be versatile with food. Pinots are SLO style. If you are a fan of Edna Valley Pinot this offers a slightly different take with vineyards that are closer to the coast. Excellent delicacy but have enough power for food pairings. Staff is cool and make tastings enjoyable. Tasting room is small so early or late in day is a good option if you want a bit more time to savor the experience

Small producer in Tin City, making great RhĂ´ne style wines. Also makes Pinots from SLO vineyards that are unique. These wines are some of the most interesting Pinots on the Central Coast, including Santa Rita Hills, Edna Valley, and Santa Maria Valley. Tasting room is low key and all about the wine. Pricing is good
