Large tasting menu to choose from. 7 tastes for $5. Wine wasn't very good but they had Pokemon so that's all that matters. . . Right? I saw 4 people trying to catch Pokemon, my wife was successful. Boom. They have disc golf which is fun and they also sell discs. Also found out that 'Castoro' means 'Beaver' in Italian.

Our friends are members at Castoro, and they introduced us to their favorite wine pourer, Jan. We had a fun time tasting and swapping stories with Jan and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, oh, yes, and the wine! We brought sandwiches from a local shop and enjoyed them in the picnic area with a bottle of Chardonnay. We also took a... More

The grounds are beautiful. Buy a bottle of wine and have a picnic. We like the Chardonnay and Cabernet. People are friendly. Make this a stop on your list!

Castoro Cellars=== Within the Paso Robles area sets Castoro Cellars. The entry is through a grape vined archway. The tasting room is friendly with numerous items for wine aficionados. The outside picnic areas with tables and chairs overlooking the wine fields.

We keep coming back to this beautiful place for the wine, the beautiful grounds, and the wonderful staff. The cost to taste 7 wines is $5. The education you get is priceless. It is an overall great experience. We always try new places when we come to Paso Robles and we also come back here as well.

Probably the prettiest winery we visited during our trip! All the Paso wineries are beautiful but this one was actually green! The entrance is a long walkway covered with vines and at the top is a beautiful outside tasting area. The winery was really busy when we went but Jennifer was really accommodating and brought the wines to our table... More

Beautiful place in summer, pretty decorative buildings and great wines to taste. Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about wines they have available. The tasting is only $5 for 7 wines and if you buy any, it's deducted from the wine price.

Good wine and really nice sweet wine if you like them sweet. The people are very nice and the tasting room is really nice. They have a patio for sitting and drinking your wine. They even have a cool Frisbee golf course...how cool is that!

This is the stereotypical winery you think of when you think of wineries!!!! Italian designed buildings, grapes, grapes, grapes, arbors, calming grounds. Have to admit that we didn't do any tasting as we had done plenty but this setting was so gorgeous that we just had to stop and explore!

Dropped in to this place on way back from Hearst castle. Warmly received by super friendly staff who guide you through a 7 wine sampling for $5 which gets waived on $25 purchase. Great tasting wines from inexpensive to moderate, all being excellent. Nice little shop as well with beautiful pottery and other stuff. Well worth the visit.
