Jimmy and Maribeth are so friendly and so are their precious dogs. Mama, Sophie and sister, Annie and Bro, Barron. The dogs are beautiful. They greeted us when we pulled in. They have signs all around saying that other dogs aren’t welcome. Which is no problem!
The wines are great and love the labels. Love the Merlot, Sy-Rific Cab, and JimmyMon Red. Their Port was great too! Will definitely be back and will be a regular not just for their wines and the friendship of Jimmy and Maribeth but to visit Sophie and her kids! Especially Barron!

Don't come here! The owner's dog attacked my dog even after being told by the Jimmy that it was OK for my dog to be there. My dog died minutes after the attack. The owners said that they have had to pay for damages caused by their dog's previous attacks. The attack was vicious and unprovoked. Next time it might be a child!! The owners don't seem to care that it is unsafe. Do not patronize this winery!

Great winery not situated with the big group king just up the road. Jim the owner was great and enjoyed the conversation. Really good wine and Sofie the German shepherd was great.

Just wow. The wine, the pairings, the atmosphere, and the service all made for an incredible last day in Paso Robles (Just look at the pictures!). Robert and I had planned on doing a quick last wine tasting before heading back to his hometown, but the vineyard was so beautiful that we decided to stay until past sunset. The bartender was fantastic; he was friendly and very attentive, checking up on us every 15 minutes or so. He told us to "make ourselves feel at home" and really meant that, which we appreciated.
Doce Robles Winery offers some really incredible light, red blends at a super affordable price. We ended up buying the Jimmymon and the Barbera but definitely had a hard time choosing. We did a wine tour the previous day, but this ended up being our favorite place! We hope to return one day.

Hi Sarah!
Just wanted to say 'Thank You' for your kind words! I had a great time with you and Robert and truly hope to see you back this year. I'm hoping you got on our email list as we have a number of fun and exciting events coming up this year. I'm so glad you enjoyed the Jimmymon and Barbera (my personal favorite). Next time you come in I want to try you on the Syrah which was not on the menu when you were in!
All the Best and Happy New Year!

I went here for a wine tasting with a friend recently. We got a groupon deal that included 6 tastings each for 2 people, and a plate of meat, cheese, with fruit. It was all under 20 dollars, which was a great deal. The wines jammy and went well with our food plate. The patio was spectacular and overlooked the vinyards. It was so relaxing to drink wine and have a great conversation. I think I spent over an hour there just chating and enjoying the view. One odd part was having to bring in my glass of wine from outside to the inside in order to get the next tasting. It really broke the rhythm during the wine tasting. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Good Afternoon jthuynh12, (sorry, don't have your name :))
Thank you for your kind words regarding the winery!
I appreciate your comment regarding having to bring your glass inside for the next tasting. I want you to know that we have updated our steps of service and will make sure that our guests seated outside will receive the same attention and service as guests in the tasting room.
Please make sure to introduce yourself the next time you visit!
My name is Brian and I look forward to meeting you!
Happy Holidays!

Doce Robles is always on my list of wineries to visit..a great setting.. always love the dogs.. much more expensive than they used to be..did not see the case sales of the past.. Wine is still good but if you’re into big bold reds you’ll be disappointed.. staff is great.. easy parking..

Found some good wines here, and bought a couple of fun bottles of the Jimmymon. We were greeted by a very friendly mellow dog. Emily knows her product and was also able to answer our questions about some of the other local wineries.

We discovered this winery on a Grapeline tour (thank you, Peggy!). The owner and wine maker was there and we had a blast! The wines are delicious! Everything you taste they can point to the grapes in the vineyard where it was grown. They were amazing with packing and shipping and we do not have a friendly import state - grrr. No doubt this is one of the Top 5 wineries in the area so don't miss it.

Jimmy puts on a wonderful evening of food, wine, music, hay ride and bonfire once a month in the summer. Highly recommended for couples or families. Small hometown feel with a beautiful view of the vineyards. Jimmy sees to it that everyone has a great time.
