Popular park on Raymond Ave right outside the Del Mar orange line metro station. Lots of activity on a Sunday morning, Croquet, lawn bowls and kids in the playground and Mixed in a large number of homeless people still sleeping at 10.30am. Even some playful squirrels to entertain.

Small and popular playground, bocce ball court (with lessons on weekends), this is a lovely park just one and half blocks south of the bustling retail and dining strip of Colorado Boulevard. Yes, there are some homeless people and plenty of dog walkers, but the place is patrolled well and everyone seems to mind their own business. One side of the park is across the street from the Del Mar Metro Gold Line station, and the other side is across from a fire department that some kids might enjoy seeing.

We had a most wonderful lunch at La Grande Orange, which is directly across the street from this seemingly beautiful park. As we were walking to the restaurant, we had noticed some memorials or statues in the Park, and after lunch, decided to go take a look.
We crossed the street, and there was so much abandoned trash lying about, that we were surprised. Then, we saw at least a dozen homeless people near the Raymond Avenue sidewalk. Most were sleeping, but some were shouting and begging.
There is a Police Station almost next to the restaurant, and thus, directly across the street from the Park. Still, as much as we wanted to walk through the Park, and check out any monuments, we just did not feel safe doing so.

This is one of the oldest parks in Pasadena. Basically it's a generic park about 2-3 blocks square and flat. Some of the trees must be cloose to 100 years old. It used to be a great place to sit and read or to have a picnic. However, now it is filled with homeless people camping out on the grass...it feels very unsafe. I would not bring my children here. I have compassion for homeless people but since Pasadena has a homeless shelter, there is no reason for these people to be sleeping here and turning a beautiful park into a homeless camp.

If you don’t know about lawn bowling you are really missing one of the oldest sports in the British empire. It is played all over the world and you will meet some inter.esting folks at this club.

I was excited to visit this place but didn't spend more than 5 minutes there as there were many homeless, odd people just camping there. The park is empty and not popular despite its location and beauty (that you better admire from a distance).
Very dissappointed.

This is a simple lawn-mall style park with trees, sidewalks and a small play area. It lacks art, water features and enough places to sit.

We were going to stop here and relax for a while while down in Pasadena, however too many homeless and questionable people loitering around. We left.

The park is in a great location. Its close to restaurants and the metro. However, there are times that is full of homeless people and they can be forward and a little scary.
