This was a discovered by accident place while walking on campus. It is a lovely, peaceful place to sit. Religious yes, but lovely. There was a volunteer high school student there who knew A LOT and told us many things about its history, and about the current building. Worth the stop. …

I went to Memorial Church which is in the Quad area of Stanford University. There were many other visitors there when I visited. As it was Christmas break there were few students. The chruch is beautiful with stained glass windows, impressive architecture, and nice front art. The church was built by Jane Stanford in memory of her husband Leland Stanford.…
