The walking tour was very nice, great students deliver the content. The campus is huge and it is nice to see all of the students truly enjoying themselves, either biking around or taking a dip in the fountains, a local tradition on warm days. As you walk around campus, there are places to eat or get a drink, and plenty... More

Walking around the campus, you cannot but love the history in the architecture. Seeing all the students ride their bikes around. Stopping under the huge trees on the large drives around campus. Walking trails are everywhere.

We were in Palo Alto and decided to drive through the campus of Stanford University to check it out. We wanted to see the Hoover Tower but the closest spot we could find to park was at the Cobb Track & Angell Field lot, 0.5 miles away. We arrived after 4PM so the Hoover Tower was closed to visitors. The... More

The campus is beautiful and attractive. However the guide of the university's walking tour talked too much about herself or just gave redundant information which we already knew from the earlier information session. I think it's better to take a self-leading tour.

I've been to some universities in the US, and all of them are wonderful, I can see why people desire to get a degree in the United States. It's definitely worth to visit here when your in town!

If you are in Palo Alto you need to go to Stanford and walk around. Very pretty campus and you can spend just a few hours seeing all the beauty on the campus.

we were here visiting a friend and took a map at the Visitor center for a self-guided tour. The majority of attractions are withing walking distance from the Visitor center. The campus is large, it resembles a small city and actually is. It has everything you need: supermarket, post office, cafes, parks, museums, and even church) interesting to walk around... More
