It's Stanford...it doesn't get better.

May very well have saved my wife's life. Best Medical facility in California. Tied with UCSF! Great Football Team!

Even if you are not a student here the campus makes an impact due to its expansive lawns and sheer size. It is also incredibly neatly maintained. Saw plenty of people of all ages walking or jogging during the late afternoon with many taking a seat on one of the many lawns to chat as the day winded down. Must... More

The gardens are well maintained scattered with students and their electronic devices...people are cycling and then there are us tourists...the church, museum, and the view from the tower are fantastic...

As a European I am beyond impressed by this college! The architecture, the Hoover (which is the tower-yes they have a freakin tower), I LOVED the green library! Even if you don't plan on studying here just go for a walk!

This is a great place to walk around and soak up educational history and some of the old and new on a huge campus that is fun to walk. There is a fair amount of construction but it has plenty of pathways to walk away from traffic

It's a weekend that I was @ Stanford university even though the road is closed but someone give us the direction and we reach the garden, entrance to the Chapel and able to see the Hoover tower. Nice place.

While vacationing in the Palo Alto area my family stopped by the Stanford University. We didn't go on the official tour but we walked around and checked out the University and it is absolutely beautiful. Definitely a must see if you are in the area.

Can see the special sauce where innovation is heralded and failure is a badge of honor and you can get a great education too. Lovely sprawling campus with that perfect West Coast ambiance and feel.
