Terrific tour of Joshua Tree

Jeff was a terrific guide full of information that makes one's visit informative and fun. Jeff also acted as a great photographer for family photos. Highly recommended.

We signed up for this tour when it was offered as one of several outings by the conference we were attending. I do not blame the outfit for the unusually cold weather, but the trip was extremely expensive for a long ride in a van, a brief stop at an oasis (actually interesting), an overly long switch to a Humvee... We booked the trip and were excited that they would be picking us up at the hotel, which was right on time with Gary, who was wonderful. 1st stop was the Oassis in Paradise which was interesting and Gary was well versed. From there it was quite a ride to Joshua Tree off road. It was basically a ride up... More

Louis' knowledge of the Joshua Forest and the San Andreas Fault is impressive and informative, but the tour itself was not worth the expense. Drove to the Oasis on the San Andreas Fault, walked around the oasis, then drove to the Jelly Donut, where we bought our own refreshments, and switched to the hummer and drove on an unpaved private... We booked a private tour for the Joshua Tree Backgrounds and it was a really informative and breath taking tour. Don, our guide, could spot a small bird or animal from a long distance and identify it with such skill. He also filled us in on the history of how the valley and mountains were formed. We were able to... More

The tour we went on picked us up in a very nice van and as we drove our guide Scott was very informative. We eventually transferred to the Hummer - apparently the hummer served time in Iraq - and it looked it, everything rattled and the radio used by Scott kept fading in and out - he had to hold... Over two hours are spent on this Hummer Adventure.A shuttle van is used to bring you into Joshua Tree. It is a difficult ride in an open-air vehicle on the highway. This is added as a benefit to customers on this adventure. Our website plainly describes that you are given a shuttle van to avoid the high winds, dust and... More

What a fun and informative trip we had today with our guide Jeff. We were picked up right on time and Jeff immediately started asking us what our interests were so he could customize the afternoon for us. Not only was he our tour guide and a wealth of information but he was also our photographer. We stopped at the... More

Four senior citizens with varying degrees of physical ability and differing interests, yet our driver, Bruce, did his best to accommodate each of us and make the trip enjoyable for everyone. Well worth it and would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed this tour to Joshua Tree. On the way we stopped at the 3rd largest oasis in the world. Scott, our guide had a great deal of information to share with us. The ride through Joshua Tree was fun and interesting. The view from Summit Point was breathtaking. You will not be sorry if you take this tour.
