This course is a real treat. Every golfer should play here at one time or another. Wonderful design, every hole should make you consider your options if you're good enough to have options. If not, just keep it the middle as best you can -- unless you see bunkers, or water, or desert waste area. Then, just hit it. If... More

If you like 5 1/2 hour rounds and little to no service, you've come to the right place. And it's too bad because the layout itself is fine. But two days in a row of snail's pace golf is too much. I've got an idea for them and won't charge for it. Eliminate at least one tee time per hour... More

A good solid course with gorgeous views. It was a good challenge but had forgivingly wide fairways. I felt the staff was a little snooty touting their Jack Nicklaus design courses. I didn't find it to be worth their rack rate - make sure and get a deal.

On the way home after a great palm springs weekend. Last stop for brunch at Escena C.C. Sitting outside with views of the lake, the course and the mountains covered with snow was one of the best experiences of the weekend. I will make this one of my stops the next time I come out. I have to try the... More

From the pro shop to starter to marshals. Everyone was a true professional and a customer centric representative of their organization. The golf course is one of the most impressive course I have ever played - and I have played all over the world.

Escena is a very scenic golf course, located near Palm Springs Airport.Designed by Nicklaus design, the course features well manicured tee,s fairway,s and green,s,all surrounded by natural waste areas, full of the local desert vegetation.Throw in a few well placed water hazards, and you have an appealing golf course. Whilst not at the very top of Palm Springs golf, the course is challenging for all... More

First the good, course conditions are very good and the greens are quick. Just bad management. We waited on 14 of 18 tees! The Marshall was there but obviously did not do anything or communicate with us. The wait started on the second hole! Finally called the pro shop on 15 and they did send the Marshall out, but he... I love this course. This is one of the newer golf courses in the desert and has been designed to challenge the full range of golfers. The grounds are vey well maintained, the mountain view is beautiful, and the staff are very helpful. The only criticism I have is their food services which is inconsistent. This modern restaurant is very nice... More

Escena golf club is on the east side of the Palm Springs airport. It is moderately challenging, immaculately groomed, and beautiful. We also played Desert Dunes but enjoyed Escena more. Greens fees were moderate at $92 each with cart.

As an 18-handicap golfer I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. Ditto my somewhat higher handicap distaff playing partner. The course was newly over-seeded, visually beautiful, broad forgiving fairways. Greens were a tad slow but subtly challenging and there are sufficient bunkers to make the course interesting. We played with another 2-some which included a first-year neophyte, but pace of play... More
