Beautiful spot

Even in the heat of the summer this spot is worth the trek. We loved the little oasis in the middle of the desert.

We did this trail in 118 degrees... We did a 2 mile trail as recommended by a helpful guide at the entrance... Beautiful and peaceful, cheap snacks at the outpost when you get back...

Bring water, sunscreen and follow one of the clearly marked trails. Enjoy quiet moments in the shadow of Palms, contemplate life ;-)

We drove up here after hiking the Murray Canyon Trail in the early morning. At 10a it was PACKED. I don't think that I would recommend this trail if you are looking to have it to yourself! Murray was much quieter and had great landscape changes!

A nice trail for most ability levels. Easy to extend your hike to the 6 or 9 mile loops. The longer routes take you to many variations of land and flora.

This hike in the Indian Canyon ($7 per senior and $9 for adults) is quite beautiful and fairly easy. You could go on for about 15 miles one way, but it starts getting fairly difficult after about 11/2 miles one way. I always hike this beautiful canyon and love the many, many palms. They give nice shade when the day... More

We went to Joshua Tree National Park and we paid $15.00 per car to go through . Here at Indian Canyon because it is on Indian Land we paid $7.00 (senior rate) per person to hike. I loved this trail we did the entire circle and it is forever changing. Not a difficult trail but lots of variety. A bit... More

I'm not sure why the apparent difference in pricing from the previous review, but I was there in late December 2014, and the cost to park in the campgrounds at the Palm Canyon trailhead, was $8.00 for the car, not per person. The trail is fairly easy until you get close to the palm oasis, where you'll start scrambling over... More
