Crowded. Bathrooms dirty, lacking toilet seat paper and toilet paper. For as many people that were there last weekend some of us for three days in a row, they should have much more toilets available. There are 5 I believe in total, one was out...More
Palm Springs got this right; this community asset is a true gift. Every time we come to Palm Springs, our walks always take us here. The pool is very huge and the classes (water aerobics) have a good following. It's especially nice to see the...More
This was truly an amazing treat for us while we were in town for a wedding. This outside pool is amazing and it was such a beautiful sight to behold as you swim. Mountains on one side and palm trees all around. The staff is...More

We’ve been swimming laps here for many years. The pool has recently been renovated and is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Beautiful views of the Palm Springs mountains from the pool too. Locker room is basic, but plenty of...More

The view form the pool was amazing. On all of our trips we try to visit outdoor pools to keep up with training. The view of the mountains in the background were stunning - almost making it hard to concentrate on swimming.
As a USMS swimmer I try to find places to swim when traveling. The Palm Springs Aquatic Center is a nice facility that is easy to access. They alternate SCY and LCM configurations so you can vary your workout. Lockers are available but bring your...More

This is an awesome facility. As for "Deep Water Aerobics" you may find that there is an exercise you can do on your own without an aerobics program. I cannot say I have ever seen that type of aerobics program offered.
Indoor pool: no, there is none but (then again, this is Palm Springs, land of sunshine). This is paradise, afterall.
Free swim: oh yes, the aerobics classes are held at one small end of the facility and the very, very many other swimming lanes are open for some pretty serious swimming. There are so many lanes open, I cannot imagine a situation when a "free-exercise" person would have a problem with any other swimmers.
Enjoy! We've not seen many other facilities (outside of Coronado) that measure up to the Palm Springs Aquatics Center.
To help you a bit more, I went to the city's website and got the following info :
Their website says:
