As a USMS swimmer I try to find places to swim when traveling. The Palm Springs Aquatic Center is a nice facility that is easy to access. They alternate SCY and LCM configurations so you can vary your workout. Lockers are available but bring your own lock. Visitors pay $5 per day and renting a kickboard and pull buoy is... More

As a daily 90 lap swimmer, this outdoor Olympic pool is paradise. Surrounded by mountain views, spacious, numerous lanes, outdoor locker rooms for drying off in the sun, it spoils you for your local indoor YMCA. I would travel to Palm Springs for this pool experience itself, but, most fortunately, there are many other draws.

Utilizing a wheelchair and going to have a great workout in the pool is wonderful. Everyone there had the utmost care and they should get credit, Each day I felt at ease, no one had more compassion than the employees. Thank you for making a super vacation even better. Vacationing here 3X a year, and I can always count on the hidden jewel. Each day an workout that can not rival the indoor pool that I use in Boston. You must try this poll, it is so convenient. Outside swimming is best, the views are amazing.

This pool is open to the public during the summer. You can buy passes to swim laps for exercises. They have lockers and restrooms. Built in the 1970's and designed by local architect Hugh Kaptur.

Mountains. Palm Trees. Mountains. Palm Trees. (these were the views as I breathed left/right during my 45 minute outdoor swim) Ahhhhh. My husband and I are regular (indoor) lap swimmers and the pool at the PS Swim Center is AMAZING! Clear. Warm. WOW! What a resource Palm Springs has...for a $5 guest fee you will not go wrong for some... More

This City pool is Olympic Sized and hosts many swim meets where our local Piranha Swim Team meets. It boasts a very nice deck with ample changing and showering facilities.

The outdoor pool access is at the very end of Pavilion Dr; good free parking available in nearby lot. Non-residents pay $5. They post the pool temperature at the entrance before you go in. The change area is open to the sky with a small roof to provide some shade or protection from occasional rain. Bring your own lock if... More

Beautiful lap pool, which was very uncrowded during the day. Since I was on vacation, this worked. They also have early morning lap swim hours. Lots of shade as well.
