I've been stopping at Hadleys since the early 1960's. This week - I went to the NEW location right behind the low-slung iconic green landmark along I-10 at Apache Trails exit. It feels like a fancy Trader Joe's and like they are still getting their feet wet. I get why -that old building has been there for bazillion years.... my... More

I have been passing this store since I was 7 years old on family vacations and finally decided take my family here. The (new) store is a very nice mix of grocery store and café. Very new, very spacious with many typical grocery items and Hadley products available. Did a little shopping, sampled the dates, fruits and nuts and ordered... More

This has always been a stop for us coming and going from Palm Springs. However, the last couple times we've come through here, the prices have gotten very high and the service has not been friendly. As much as I like the shakes, I don't think I will give them anymore of my business. Considering the prices they are asking,... More

I'd never been to the old location but one of the moms on our trip said we needed to stop at historic Hadley's. The location is beautiful and clean. Got some gluten free yummy treats and tried, for the very first time, date shakes. I've got to say they were surprisingly delicious!!! The banana date one was PRIMO!!!! They were... More

If it has been awhile since you've stopped in, you owe it to yourself to visit the new facility adjacent to the old green road stand. Located behind Ruby's Diner, use the spacious free parking and walk into an air conditioned oasis with restrooms. There is a short order grill with seating, a junior market and Hadley's famous Trail Mix... More

I have been visiting Hadley's since I was very young. Has lots of choices of dried fruits, dates, nuts, etc. They have recently moved in to a larger, new facility that is great. Try a Date Shake while you are there.

If you like dates (the fruit kind), you will find a broad assortment here. The date shakes are yummy. This used to be our regular stop en route to Palm Springs. It's just past the Desert Hills Outlets, adjacent to the Morongo Casino. Make a day of the area if the weather isn't scorching - and it often will be.

Oh Pooh! While the sandwiches and date shakes haven't changed, the historic feel of the place sure has now that it's gone to its new location. Still an oasis in the desert and a distraction if you have kids or antsy adults.

This has been a must stop for decades. We loved the assortment of fresh, dried, and processed produce and added date shakes to the assortment when they were no longer available in Indio. This is the first time to stop since the reconstruction and it no longer has the appeal for us. The assortment is larger. However, the products are... More

I'm from San Diego area - the few times I pass thru Palm Springs since 1980s, a date shake is a must have. Although I am lactose intolerant, I can't pass this up. Hopefully they branch out to San Diego area.
