If it has been awhile since you've stopped in, you owe it to yourself to visit the new facility adjacent to the old green road stand. Located behind Ruby's Diner, use the spacious free parking and walk into an air conditioned oasis with restrooms. There is a short order grill with seating, a junior market and Hadley's famous Trail Mix... More

I have been visiting Hadley's since I was very young. Has lots of choices of dried fruits, dates, nuts, etc. They have recently moved in to a larger, new facility that is great. Try a Date Shake while you are there.

If you like dates (the fruit kind), you will find a broad assortment here. The date shakes are yummy. This used to be our regular stop en route to Palm Springs. It's just past the Desert Hills Outlets, adjacent to the Morongo Casino. Make a day of the area if the weather isn't scorching - and it often will be.

Oh Pooh! While the sandwiches and date shakes haven't changed, the historic feel of the place sure has now that it's gone to its new location. Still an oasis in the desert and a distraction if you have kids or antsy adults.

This has been a must stop for decades. We loved the assortment of fresh, dried, and processed produce and added date shakes to the assortment when they were no longer available in Indio. This is the first time to stop since the reconstruction and it no longer has the appeal for us. The assortment is larger. However, the products are... More

I'm from San Diego area - the few times I pass thru Palm Springs since 1980s, a date shake is a must have. Although I am lactose intolerant, I can't pass this up. Hopefully they branch out to San Diego area.

Hadley is an institution of DATES / FRUITS/ NUTS / some local wines located just outside PALM SPRINGS on #10... housed in an old green storefront with bins and aisles that beckon one to wander, browse and purchase BUT THEY HAVE MOVED to a NEW BUILDING - now serving a mini deli / milk/cheese/t-shirts/ in short JUST ANOTHER MINI MARKET... Beautiful new store behind the old one. Next to Morango Casino. Could not see from the hwy. Good parking. Long line for snack bar, but date shakes are handed out as soon as you pay. Long wait for sandwiches, but good. Lots of fun foods and dried fruits in the store itself. Good rest stop in route to Palm Desert... More

Beautiful store and much larger! Located very close to the Morongo Casino and Hotel. It is a great place to eat and visit when shopping at Cabazon and, also, a great weekend getaway at the Casino and Hotel as a side choice.

We stopped here for a sandwich on our way into town. The woman behind the counter forgot to place our order, so 20 minutes later she came to our table to ask for it again. When our sandwich arrived, the bread was in pieces, the tuna salad was dripping with mayo, and none of it seemed fresh. Hadley's famous market... More
