We were so fortunate to have a wonderful guide for our tour of the garden. Most of the plants were started in 1938. Our guide showed us how the plants tried to survive and reproduce in such difficult conditions. It's doubtful that we would have...More

A small but fascinating collection of desert plants, from flowering bushes to giant cacti. They have a store where you can purchase samples to take home.

There were three generations of us and we all enjoyed checking out (and taking photos) of all of the different types of Cacti. For the few dollars admissions, I think this was interesting.

This botanical garden is tiny, and very average. To be honest unless you’re looking to kill time or are a major plant fanatic, I’d give this place a skip. The garden primarily focusses on cacti 🌵 and provides very little insight into the plants

I don't recall a sign to that effect or against it but I also did not see any dogs there when we were there. I would call first and ask.
