I was embarrassed to take my family that flew into Palm Springs for the first time here. Trash strewn across the course and cart paths, homeless encampments 50 yards from tee boxes, even a homeless guy erratically walking through our round making us worried about leaving our cart unattended. Disappointing because the actual course and play was challenging and fun. But there are many much better courses to play at and show visitors. Icing on the cake was that the rate was $150!!! Will not return.

The other reviews say this course is inexpensive and has reasonable rates, but many of those are from years ago. Today, it's no longer cheap and isn't worth the more than $100 fees. People were walking their dogs on the course, literally walking right down the cart path when we were getting ready to tee off, so we had to wait for them to get a safe distance away. You have to cross a busy road at one point. All this would be OK if this course was cheap, but it's not. On a positive note, the staff and starter were very nice.

Our annual golf trip to Palm Springs always includes several round at Tahquitz Creek. The Resort course was still quite heavily storm damaged. Surprisingly, the were still charging more for it over the Legend course. We play these courses because of the great value on our Canadian dollar. They are not top-notch courses compared to other expensive courses nearby. Having said that, any course is better than winter in Canada. The service is good in the clubhouse and bar, and the included breakfast and lunch is very good. I found the cart guys are always fishing for tips. Carts are supposedly not allowed in the parking lot, unless you give them a tip. Overall, good value, passable course.

We teed off around 1:00 with another couple. They had played this course before and thank goodness because at sometimes we had to cross roads and play between houses. The greens were in great shape and very nice views all around. Some holes were quite challenging. We only got in 16 holes before the sun starting setting. But we enjoyed the game and would recommend to everyone. We had a coupon we found on line for a round of golf on the Legend course, cart, club rental and 2 drinks that was amazing. Check on line before going !

We came across this golf course as it was near where we were staying. What great luck! It has 2 18 hole courses, Legends & Resort - both are Very well kept. For $69 you get a buffet breakfast, lunch, 2 drinks and the game. How can you go wrong?

Tried to play 18 holes on a mediocre course for upwards of three hours in 95 degree weather. No beverage cart at any point, no water offered on the course. Ran out of drinks on hour three and were forced to call it quits. Unacceptable experience and will not be returning.

Taquitz Creek is a 36 hole facility with two distinctly different courses. The Legend course is a older desert course that is fairly flat with moderate greens but is a must play for under $60 during peak times. The Resort course is a stunning course compared to the sister course on the property. It has been totally redone by the Palmer Management Group and they have done a fabulous job. There are distinct par 3's which require carries over water, which include water falls. This course can be played for around $80 during peak season. If you have the time to play both courses in a single day play the Legends course first early in the morning. This will run you $44 before 8am. When you finish play the Resort course for the replay amount of $34. The replay is offered on a space available only so you may need to spend some time having lunch or practicing your putting on the putting clock. For a total of $78 you will have played two distinctly different courses for less than the cost of one of the big name courses. A must play for all golfers.

If you ever decide to golf at tahquitz creek, be ready for some tasty, hunky men! Alex in the golf shop instantly makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside the moment you engage with him. His wittiness and humor make you wanting to come back for more. Then you have Ryan outside, YUM! His natural bravado combined with the sweat dripping off him on a hot summer day can make the strongest man buckle at the knees...golf course is very nice

Great golf course and enjoyed our round. Pro shop staff and the outside guys, with the exception of the starters and course marshalls, were very unfriendly. When I took the cart back the guy cleaned my clubs, barely spoke and when I tipped him $5 I got a grunt - which I assumed to be "thanks"!! Wish I'd had the nerve to ask for it back. My rating is based on customer service not the golf course.

Played from the back tees on the Resort Course. Having played two of Palm Springs more high-profile courses earlier in the week, it felt initially a bit of an anti-climax when arriving. A somewhat dour clubhouse and driving range a tad bit poor. However, the condition of the course was excellent and the layout of the holes very enjoyable. Not the longest of courses and with generous fairways, you never felt like running up a big score on any hole but, we felt it was well worth it and the par-3's and 5's were great. Overall, a very worthwhile trip.
