Lovely drive and walk, parking is free in Palm Springs...which is a nice plus in this lovely city. Plenty of things to keep you occupied during a leisurely stroll, filled with shops, coffee shops, all ranges of dining...a central location for any Palm Springs visit.

We stayed at an Airb&b about 2 blocks away so we were able to walk here every day. There are several blocks of wonderful restaurants and shops. It is really lively and night and many of the eateries have outdoor seating.

Palm Canyon Drive initially impressed us as getting a little long in the tooth and past its prime, but it grew on us. Night-time and early morning are best for sure, and many shops are quite quirky. There are a lot of excellent dining options too.

There is something special architectural style that gives the whole feeling of being on holiday when you go along Palm Canyon.Heyday has passed, but the supply is still quite interesting Tall light-covered palm trees gently shade the street as you stroll beneath majestic Mount San Jacinto.

The relaxed atmosphere with colour and design around every corner. Being a child of the 60s I could live here and feel right at home, people rub along together and while there are lots of visitors there is a real community in the city which is best described as being comfortable within its self. Tolerates is the key, you can... More

We spent the day having brunch, walking and shopping in a leisurely way, around the drive. What a comfortable and accommodating town Palm Springs is. We'll go back again and again

Drove down this street on my way to go hiking. The views down this street are really nice to see and looked like there were lots of little shops and restaurants along the way. Finding this is a good little spot in Palm Springs to take a quiet weekend.

Nice mix of bars and restaurants and shops. Very lifely. Parking may be difficult where the main action takes place but you will easily find a spot in the side streets.

A great main street area, with lots of mom and pop shops, cafes and restaurants. A nice way to check out Palm Springs and do a little urban exploring, including the Walk of Stars.

We got lucky because we arrived into Palm Springs on a Thursday which just so happens to be the night they block off the street for a street festive. Lots of food options and vendors! Great time!
