I would recommend the Aerial Tramway to anyone who visits Palm Springs...especially in the summer, when the temperatures are 70-75 degrees up top, while at the same time, temperatures below are 100-110. The views are amazing. If you are not on a tight budget, I...More

I highly recommend the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway because I enjoy the relatively easy hiking trails and beautiful vistas available at the top of the mountain. Also, I get a spine-tingling, somewhat fearful, thrill from the tram ride up and down the side of the...More

The Tram ride itself is an amazing experience. You go from 2000 feet at the valley station to over 8500 feet at your destination. The views of the valley are breathtaking and the temperature is usually at least 30 degrees cooler than the desert floor....More

Ok, I am going to say this was amazing, because it was once I got to the top. However, that being said, if you don't like heights, re-think your decision. I had trouble with nausea and weak knees as the tram climbed, the spinning of...More

Fantastic views of the sprawling Palm Springs below. 8,500 feet high. Worth a visit. Make sure you wear sensible walking shoes and do the 1.5 mile walk to get some great views. Food very average.

This was really fun. The tram itself is a fun ride. You gain altitude quickly and get to have an amazing view develop in front of you as you ascend. Once at the top, the weather is significantly cooler than down in the desert. In...More

Palm Springs was 47 degrees on the day we went up. At the top of the mountain it was 20 degrees cooler and perfect for hiking, the views were spectacular- well worth it.

We have hiked, backpacked, dined, and played in the snow here. This time It was 70 on top while 106 in the parking lot. Even if you don't leave the tram station it's worth the price to take the incredible ride to the top. The...More

While in Palm Springs take the tram ride to the scenic mountains. The ride up is amazing . Spend time hiking and taking in the magnificent views.

I think the previous answers will be very helpful for you. Check the website. I recommend if you're not hiking to go later in the afternoon to see the view going up, then come down at dusk to see the lights of the city.

You will still have a good view of the mountain you are ascending. You may not be able to see far into the valley. It is an experience in anyway.

Take it. The Tram takes you up fast but there are two or three air bumps. It rotates very slowly. Very beautiful up there so if your men's to not have side effects, then take it if you feel very worried about this.
