Went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. Yes it is a bit of a trek to get to the ticket booths and the drive is a bit steep but it was super worth it! The views are outstanding!!! The ride on the aerial tramway was fun and smooth. I was a bit nervous every time we passed... More

Wow ! The revolving cable car takes you up 8,000 + feet for breathtaking views of Palm Springs and the desert below. Some great trails at the top too. Gift shops and restaurants and great service. Well worth a visit , couldn't fault it at all.

Not much to do in Palm Springs as far as touristy things but this must be #1 on your list. What a view going up and down and spectacular at the top. You can hike down some trails when you get to the top, but we didn't do it. We took a shuttle from our parking lot to the tram,... More

Have been to Palm Springs several times, however had never gone up the mountain on the tramway. WHAT A FABULOUS SURPRISE for a everyone, but especially those who like to hike. There are two restaurants and a bar up there and it's about 30 degree cooler, so very lovely, especially in the summer when it's 113 down in Palm Springs!

Great morning out , could have stayed all day. The tram is about a 10 minute drive from central Palm Springs and is well sign posted. We got there to go up on the first team at 10 a.m. There were quite a few people but each tram can hold 80 people, there were about 60 in ours and that... More

The mountain is beautiful and great temperature! You can hike or go and have a sandwich or beer!! 😉 i was visiting from Nj and really like the... More

The last time I visited the tram was about twenty years ago. The new tram is a vast improvement, I really do not like heights but I was able to find a spot in the middle and look at the floor on the way up. The ride down was a breeze (maybe it was the drinks I had with lunch)... More

The PS Aerial Tramway is good fun and offers a great view of the valley below. At the top is a restaurant and cafe for lunch, gift shop and great adventure walks. Check the temperature at the top before going as it can get cold up there.

While up there, we did two hikes - the Desert View we highly recommend and the Round Loop. Desert views are amazing - there are 5 notches that are perfect picture places! Hikes were not difficult, we climbed higher on second hike! Perfect!

You take a ride in the Tramway straight to the top of the mountain. Excellent view. Down in the streets is warm in summer time, over 100° F, at the top of the mountain over 60° F. They have at the top a mountain station with a restaurant, cafe area, gift shop, theater and an open area to go inside... More
