All visits to a Museum are breath taking, but this one was a great suprise. You have a very grand variety of pieces, A Picasso, Constant private collections in which my daughter and i had the fabuloso oportunity to See a rare Van Gogh, a Mark Rothko. Just stuning. Art and Children do match.

The Palm Springs art museum is located on Museum drive in Palm Springs, Ca. The museum is open everyday expect for Monday and it's free on Thursday (donation optional). It's a four floor museum neatly laid out and easy to see all the art work without being overwhelmed. Displayed throughout the museum is work from Calder, Chagall, Matisse, etc. There... More

Really enjoyed this museum. It's not large, put has some really special exhibits. I especially enjoyed the video presentation on a glass blowing school in NoCal.

I enjoyed the art, the kids were bored half way through. Nice mixture of sculptures, mixed media and fine art. Nice cool reprieve from the opression heat.

Stopped in during a visit to Palm Springs. Perfectly sized museum, very nice collection of art pieces and very friendly and helpful staff. There is also a nice cafe and gift shop.

This is a great museum with great exhibits and great permanent collection. No cafe, but the gift store is well stocked, though overpriced. Bathrooms are ample and clean. One block to Starbucks, CoffeeBean, and lunch spots. If you stay at the pleasant and affordable Palm Mountain Hotel, you are half a block from the museum.

My grandchildren were gravitated to its sculptures. On the main gallery, the whole family stood or sat in random and my friend took the most interesting family picture for us with museum pictures collection as the background.
