This is an outdoor memorial in Civic Centre Park. There is a huge statue of several figures representing different people affected by the Holocaust. The display is surrounded by the posts that were surrounding the camps and held the barbed wire to prevent escape. There...More

We come for the Memorial but so much art and other things to see. Stroll through the park and see water fountains, birds, walking paths. Take a lunch with you and eat at tables.

The sculptures are in a very peaceful garden setting. Although done extremely well, you know the atrocities which occurred and you felt so very sad for the past. Lest we never forget.

This is located in a very nice park area and is extremely well done. Nice sculptures and write up of events during the Holocaust. Outside area. Twenty to thirty minute stop. Close to Palm Desert Visitor Center, same complex.

This was a beatufully done memorial. Would definitely recommend if you are drawn to history. Located in a park, little hard to find, but worth it. The statues and panels are beautiful and moving.

The Desert Holocaust Memorial is a moving tribute to a horrendous event. The memorial is beautifully done and contains a wealth on information about the Word War II incident.

54 million people were killed and died during World War II. A tenth of those deaths are memorialized here. This conceptualization works....There is a lot going on here for sure. They cover a lot of information. This is definitely a cerebral visit, too. The symbolism...More

This is a nicely done memorial to the victims and survivors of one of history's greatest crimes against humanity. The bronze statues are very moving in their depiction of the terror of that era. We have been to other larger such monuments but we found...More

I saw this on Trip Advisor and wanted to check it out for myself. There are multiple panels around the main statues that outline some of the horrible events of the Holocaust. Two things really struck me. The first being the names of the countries...More
