Very good compact golf club

Woodhaven is a very compact, short golf course, which can be challenging. It is short but narrow, better bring your "A" game. Greens and fairways are in great shape.

The Woodhaven course presents opportunities to score, but also has some trouble. There is a peninsula green that requires a good shot to avoid the water. Other holes have water challenges for most of their length. In general, the fairways are generous and the sand traps fair. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pace of play was great. We... More

Woodhaven is an older community which is designed around a shorter golf course. The grounds are well maintained but the fairways are relatively tight. We stay at the development 3 months every year and over the years we have seem many changes both good and not so good. The great maintenance of this course has been very consistent; however, the... We just spent a month here and loved it. The course was fun and in great shape. Everything was green compared to PGA West where only the fairways are green and everything else was brown. 20 minutes from the airport just off I10. Close to almost everything. You can walk to Starbucks,Albertson's or Ralphs. Probably 1/2-3/4 of a mile. They... More

Woodhaven is a semi-private golf course located in a gated community (easy to access if you;re playing golf!). It is short measuring barely 5,800 yards from the back tees. The fairways tend to be relatively generous and don't have too many bunkers. As the course does wind it's way around the perimeter of the development out-of-bounds will come into play... More

We used stand-by golf to book a tee time for 5 people. The cost was very reasonable for a tee-time after noon even though we were delayed for about an hour due to the frost in the morning. The fairway was well maintained and there were not much water for you to lose your balls. The members were very friendly... More

We had dinner Thursday night Prime Rib night, it was wonderful, the wait staff was great, music with dinner (Oldies but goodies) and the food was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place and meal to anyone out for dinner on a Thursday evening, open to the public, but feels like a private Country Club.

Public/private club. The amenities at the clubhouse are lovely. The course was well maintained and perfect for my husband and myself, challenging for him, not overwhelming for me. Staff in pro shop and bar very friendly. We're thinking of buying on Palm Desert so looked at club house, very nice. Will definitely keep it in mind for house hunting, but... More

You can do better. Woodhaven's rentals are quite dark inside and not very well laid out. It's located on Washington Street, which is quite busy in season.
