The Firecliff course at Desert Willow stands out amid the other 120 area golf courses.

Golf course is really amazing. Really worth to visit it. However, the staff is providing medium service, marshall is non existent, we were playing behind 4 men who played extremely slow. We asked if they could let us pass but there was straight answer "No". Players are allowed to have parties, scream and drink whisky on the golf course. Nobody... More

Make no mistake The Firecliff course is a stern test of golf. It is desert golf but the corridors are wide enough not to punish off line shots too severely. It is in excellent shape and keeps your interest throughout the course. The greens complexes are interesting and the terrain varied. It is not one of the better known courses... More

This course is spectacular; well maintained, hugely scenic, excellent condition, and fast greens. The scenery alone is amazing, but put this with a world class golf course, and this was the highlight of our golf in the Palm Springs area. We managed to get a reasonable price using an online early season coupon, and it was well worth the money.... More

Played the Mountain course at Desert Willows April 11 while on a weeks vacation Have played there numerous times in previous years but this time noticed some slippage un the conditions namely the bunkers. Disappointing, clumps of grass actually growing in them and a lack of sand. Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come?

Played Mountain view. If you pay on line it will cost less ($125 vs. $139). Course was nice but there was a "sameness" to many of the holes. It was well manicured and the staff was very nice and accommodating. We had a slow group in front and the ranger spoke to the group and offered us the opportunity to... More

Desert Willow golf course is a must in Palm Desert. Immaculate course and outstanding and helpful people, well run with attention to detail. This is our third time to play there and will continue to come back. CA AAA puts out a Red Dot golf book w/ many discounts that can be used in CA and NV---Desert Willow is one... More

Went to play Firecliff with 20 guys on a golf trip - the last of the 5 courses we played. It is a premium complex with premium fees - something we were all more than willing to do. The course itself was gorgeous. Unfortunately, the bunkers were simply awful - no sand to be found in them. It was all... More

I didn't get to play the course but had 3 lessons at their golf school and also spent several hours on the range. The range is beautiful with spectacular views. The lessons were very helpful and the instructors were both professional and friendly. They changed my grip which seems to have straightened everything out. My 10 year old also got... More

We played both courses at the Desert Willow courses owned by the city. They are very well groomed and the staff are always so helpful. Many sand traps on the Firecliff course. There is a restaurant above the courses and it is excellent also. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

I played both courses (Mountainview and Firecliff.) they were both great and I thought Firecliff was the most spectacular. Both courses were in fantastic shape and the greens were fast and true. There was not a brown spot anywhere on either course. We stayed at IntraWest so we got a reduced rate on the golf. These are public courses which... More
