A trip to Palm Springs won't be complete without a stop at all 3 locations of the Palm Springs Art Museum. The one in Palm Desert is now also called "the Galen" after the benefactor who provides free admission year round to all. Usually there's...More

This museum of Art has quite a few interesting collections. There is a movie theatre in the basement. Local contemporary artist and international ones are together for a really enjoyable moment.

We travel to Palm Springs once or twice a year and always go to the Palm Spring Art Museum that is superb! The one in Palm Desert we have been to twice. The building is relatively small, but the space is designed beautifully and innovatively...More

We went to see the Warhol Exhibit, but got so much more. The museum is stunning, the artwork is an unusual collection, but well considered and tasteful. Whimsical and beautiful at the same time. Classy and yet remarkably relate able. BRAVO

The museum has a nice small desert garden. What we appreciated most, though, was the current exhibit of about 80 photos taken in out-of-the-way spots in the desert. It was well curated and nicely displayed. I have recommended it to photographers that I know. BTW,...More

We enjoy this art gallery as it is more modern in style. The art gallery is free. The gallery seems to feature local artists or local sites by other artists. The exhibit when we were there featured photography styles of desert and local sites. It...More

The black and white photographic exhibit didn't appeal to us. Maybe when the current exhibit changes, we will return. It's unfortunate that we missed the past "Glass Exhibit". The beautifully landscaped sculpture garden is worthy of a visit here. This garden is well-planned out and...More

A small venue museum in Palm Desert. A little disappointed in the photographic exhibit when I attended. Interesting, but sad, mostly black and white images that featured a lot of the Salton Sea and surrounding area of desert in SoCal. This attraction could be passed...More

I see one reviewer had a hard time finding this place. It's easy, when you turn on to El Paseo from !!! (from Palm Springs direction), you will see a turnoff to the right that says Chamber of Commerce--it's in among those buildings and right...More

Check the PSAM website. I almost always check out the website of museums where I'll be traveling to see the logistics of visiting the museum and, most of all, what the exhibits will be while I'm there.
