Ginny was our tour guide today. She was animated and engaging. She started the tour by learning a bit about my husband and me and our experiences in the Coachella Valley as well as how many food tours we had done. We were the only two on this windy and chilly day. Every stop was prepared for us and there was more than enough food to eat as we grazed our way through Palm Springs, learning some history and culture. We had never eaten at any of the restaurants and have agreed we will go back to each for a meal. We liked that there were different kinds of foods, a little alcoholic beverage, sweets, and an olive oil and vinegar shop. The timing for each stop was good and the walk was delightful. Ginny also provided us with some recommendations of other restaurants in the Valley, which we appreciated as we visit the area frequently.

There were 9 of us on this tour on a Saturday. Fun people, great host, good pace and plenty to eat and drink. Everything was delicious and good variety of foods. Our 1st and 3rd stops we had wine and a margarita so our personalities were all enhanced. 3 hour tour not a lot of walking but lots of interesting trivia about early Palm Springs. We love doing foods tour on our vacations and this one didn’t disappoint.

We had an 11 am tour on December 27, 2019. Our tour guide was Ginny. It was just her, my husband and me. Ginny was a delight - very personable and a fun person to guide us around Palm Springs for the next 3 hours. We stopped at 5 or 6 places along the route. Each giving us a good sampling and every one of them delicious. As we had never been to Palm Springs before it was fun to hear about the start of the city and how it grew over the years. I find food tours in cities we've never been to a good way to learn about the town and it's best food. I was not disappointed and would recommend this tour to everyone.

We took the tour on Dec. 5, 2019, and enjoyed it a lot. 7 stops along the tour, and our guide, Ginny, gave us some local history along the way. Very good guide, who took the time to learn our names! Come hungry, as the portions are good sized. Nicely spaced out too - 2 places to eat, then checked out the olive oil shop, so you could digest that last food. The last place for the chocolate cake - yummy!

We took the Palm Springs tour with Ginny as our guide on a gloomy Thursday with sprinkles threatening but had a nice time nonetheless. We’ve taken food tours all over the world and find them to be a fun way to try local specialties and learn something about a place we are visiting. All the tours share certain commonalities-small bites in several spots but this one had a few things that made it different: -less walking-all the stops were really close together -booze-it’s unusual to get any alcohol, especially at the very reasonable $69 price, but this tour include 1/2 glass of wine at the first stop and a margarita midway on the tour -free stuff-both the olive oil stop and local toffee shop gave us small gifts (mini bottle of oil and small bags of signature toffee respectively) -more seniors-at 50 something we were by far the youngest members of the group of 8 on the tour -less local commentary-some tours are like a full history lesson, this one, not so much. -more stops-typically 4-6 seems to be the norm, this one was 7 -fewer local spots-most often good tours highlight really local, one of a kind businesses-and while there were a couple of those (toffee shop) there were others with several location and even one that started out of the area Bottom line: you won’t be disappointed if you take this tour. Good food quality and lots to eat.
