There are some excellent golf courses in the Californian Desert but the Classic Club may just be the pick. A distinguished history of hosting the Bob Hope Classic made us think we could be in for something special. From the moment we drove up the long drive to the impressive clubhouse, we felt at home and the level of friendliness... More

My wife joined me after a round of golf and we enjoyed the golf course view with the eastern hills in the background. First time I had a cobb salad and it was fantastic. Wifey had the Denver and raved. Would return just for the lunch. Prices are very reasonable as are most golf course restaurants in the valley.

Fantastic course and service from staff of this club, bar one which I will mention later. As mentioned by other commentators, a $15 coupon was included for food. We in fact played a second round here on our "free day" getting a deal for $55 dollars including the meal voucher, as we found our visit very enjoyable even though it... More

Played the Classic Club Course on 9-25-16. The course, greens and driving range was in excellent condition. The pro shop, staff and starter couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The facility including the restaurant, locker room and pro shop were fantastic. The entire team has mastered the art of customer experience and service. Great value received for the $$ paid.... I played Golf with three friends at Classic Club today. Great facility, Beautiful Golf course that is quite challenging...the Greens, Sand Traps & Fairways are taking a beating during this Summers brutal temperatures...but it is a Great Course and worth visiting. The round comes with a $15 coupon for lunch. We all had the Blackened Mahi Sandwich and a couple... More

I've played here 20 or so times over the last few years. The track is outstanding, typical Palmer where a lot of shots to the pins are "all or nothing." But that's not your only play. There are obvious safe areas near most par 4 and 5 greens where you still have an excellent chance to pitch it close and... More

The track involves a lot of water and many bunkers. It is a Palmer course and he tends to demand excellence around the greens. Speaking of the greens. They were fast and firm. Out of all the ten courses we played over the last 3 weeks this one is my least favorite. It is a good course but it is... More

Came to the dessert on a guys weekend and this was the first of three courses we played. It's a fantastic course, well maintained, challenging but playable and with different looks. Staff was super friendly and the dinner at the restaurant was on par with other nice restaurants. Will play here again next year.

Just a beautiful course next to a wildlife refuge. The abundant bird life, water features, landscaping and overall course condition is just 5 star. The course is generous to the ladies but believe me it is challenging. Words cannot describe how stunning the setting is with the mountain backdrop. Additionally, it is both elegant and friendly. Love this course.

Outstanding Experience! Lovely course, 5 tee boxes allow every level of player to enjoy. Lightning fast greens made putting an interesting challenge. Cart girl came by every 3-4 holes. Water bottles provided in cooler in cart. Golf towels provided. No bad or boring holes; flowers and water features throughout, designated Audubon sanctuary, and attention to water conservation. Beautiful Tuscan type... More
