We enjoyed the park there at the center with the Holocaust exhibit. We enjoyed walking around the gardens and ponds and seeing the beautiful ducks. I had never seen so many different kinds.

Small visitor center but more than willing to help. Lots of magazines and brochures available. Location also features a locals art museum.

Stop here is get your bearings and to help you decide what to see and do. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The center is located on one of the main east-west roads and easy to find.

While it's a typical visitors center the gentleman we spoke with was very helpful & providing us with directions to grocery stores, suggestions on places to eat, etc.

We went the day after we arrived in Palm Desert to get maps and information. The staff were so helpful and gave us many suggestions for places to eat and to visit and hikes to take in the area. They gave us brochures and maps and directions to the Holocaust Memorial.

Typical visitors center, nothing special. We wanted a map to the mid-century modern homes and business but they only had a fancy one for $6.00. Since we were on a limited time schedule we just used an on-line resource. Amazing building though.

Thanks for the great 5-Star review. We're working on the signage issue, and more signs are going up in the next few weeks. Hopefully future visitors won't encounter the same issues. I'm very glad that you found our staff to be helpful, and generous with our time. That's what we're here for, and we're always happy to help! Thanks again. More
