We have taken our grandchildren there many times when visiting the Palm Dessert area. Love feeding the giraffe's. During the holidays they have the desert lights that are wonderful to see.

Very friendly volunteers to help you get around. Did not use tram. Did zoo in two hours with getting in the special chats of some of the animals. Gotta feed the giraffe!

Zoo and botanical gardens. Several talks and exhibits. Opens early and only open until early afternoon because of the heat. A lot of the animals were hiding because it was so hot here in September. Pay for the tram! It's worth every penny.

I have been to The Living Desert and have taken family members there as well, including children and adults. It has always been enjoyed by all, whether it's the zoo or during the holiday season. It is also an amazing place to go hiking!
