I've not worked out much in the last year & thought this hike was HARD! Way more uphill than we were told. That said, very pretty, flowers, views were great. We did come upon a rattlesnake too 😳

Great hike! Absolutely beautiful. Moderately hard incline at the beginning, short walk to trail head. We really enjoyed it. Did 2 miles in and 2 back.

This is an advanced trail but very doable if you take lots of breaks. "The Friends of the Desert" organization, across the street at the visitors center, offers free (give a donation, it goes to a great cause "preservation") weekly hikes up this trail. They...More
