I'm coming out to Palm Springs an average of four to six times a year. I always enjoy driving or walking at the El Paseo Shopping Center. You will find a wide variety of upscale shops. The same you would find on Rodeo Drive in...More

This is the “strip” in Palm Desert. Mostly high end boutiques offering apparel although there are also salons, parfumeries, and kitchen supply stores. I was able to buy some nice shoes at Mephisto and some of my favorite shower gels at L’Occitane en Provence. We...More

El Paseo has a bit of shopping to meet everyone’s taste. Stores include high end fashion shops and boutiques as well as art galleries, restaurants and chain stores. Walking the street is beautiful and I always stop by Starbucks for a cup of coffee and...More

This is the main shopping street of Palm Desert. It is one mile long with elegant shops on both sides of the street. We were there with friends who like to walk and shop and it took us 6 hours to slowly meander in and...More

Went to have dinner at Wilma and frieda and decided to walk around el paseo. It was beautiful but a lot negligible run of the mill shops. No local shops with handicrafts or local artisans. Disappointing to say the least.

Thank you for visiting El Paseo and sharing your experience. We hope you come back, and wander a little further along the over 1-mile district, as we have many small boutiques and art galleries that are all locally owned. We hope to see you soon!

Visited mid May on a Friday afternoon and found the district mostly empty. Shops were mostly empty and galleries looked closed. It’s a beautiful area with high end shops. Maybe a better attraction in the winter (high season)

El Paseo is a really nice walk! There is outdoor music as you stroll past the beautiful shops with many unique items! Many great places to get a bite to eat!

Well, if you like to people watch, shop for things most will never afford, drink Starbucks with the rich, and enjoy outdoor Mediterranean dining, then Palm Desert’s El Paseo is calling you. And who knows, you may run into Richard Gere!

The public art in the medians set this stretch of road above and apart from others. We began at one end of El Paseo Drive and walked until the art ended. Along the way, we poked in at Tommy Bahama for dessert, strolled the shops...More

So many to chose from! The ones already listed are great, but there's Venue Sushi, Mitch's (seafood and more), and the new Wolfgang Puck Grill. All spectacular!
