79 reviews
Learn about California's geology and desert wilderness on a half-day Jeep tour to the San Andreas Fault. Drive through the Coachella Valley to the fault zone while hearing from your guide about native plant and animal life, local history, the Salton Sea, and earthquakes. Depending on your preference, you can take a nature walk in the desert or stay in the vehicle. You'll also stop by a date farm where you can try their signature date milkshake. Been to Palm Springs about 4 times now and this was the first time I've stumbled upon El Paseo in Palm Desert. It is an outdoor shopping district with all of the most expensive shops and galleries you can imagine. It is much like Rodea Drive in LA, only newer and in the desert. Gucchi, Sachs, blah, blah, blah. Some of the shops were shopping by appointment only -- lol! Porsches and other sports cars line the streets, and movie stars fill the cafes (we recognized one guy but neither of us could remember his name). There are many art galleries up and down the strip, and it doesn't cost anything to see the art. Very interesting street to walk on, but we didn't buy anything. If you want to feel wealthy for a day, check it out.

Took a walk down El Paseo today. Very nice walk. Great window and in store shopping. All of the businesses were happy to have us come in and shop.

We live viewing there. There are great restaurants and great shops. Relaxing strolls and a gathering place. It’s great to see so many people out this weekend. From art to clothing and restaurants or notions. It’s the hippest place around. Go to #TommyBahama for the Mai tai, be very careful if you have 2. Have a designated driver. As The Beach Boys say. Fun Fun Fun.

Love shopping here! Great stores, especially the Upper Crust for kitchen specialties and more standards like Saks, Eileen Fisher and Johnny Was.

El Paseo Shopping District, located in scenic and popular Palm Desert,California is a great day or night destination trip for great outdoor activities, shopping, dining, gallery visits and sightseeing! Located about 1-2 hours from Orange and LA Counties so you can definitely make this a nice day trip and you won't be disappointed! They have great places to grab breakfast, lunch and dinner as well drinks and coffee specialty shops. El Paseo Avenue is the main street that goes through the venue that features great pieces of traditional, lite hearted and whimsical art! The Paseo as locals refer to it is a great place for photo ops and great IG's! The Santa Rosa San Jacinto National Monument is nearby that features a great visitors center where you can grab some free maps and info about the local nature. Very safe, family, couples, friends and senior citizen oriented environment for a terrific visit! Plenty of free parking, lots of great places to visit and very picturesque So Cal desert scenery makes for a great outing! . . . . #elpaseo #elpaseoshoppingdistrict #desertlife #palmdesert #art #food #coffee #clothes #galleries #palmsprings #cathedralcity #deserthotsprings #ilovepalmdesert #orangecounty #losangelescounty #inlandempire #socaldesert #ilovethedesert #californiadreaming #californiadreamin #waynesalvatti #photografxworldwide #santarosasanjacintonationalmonument #jewelry #shopelpaseo #getoutthere #letsgoshopping #ig #igpalmdesert
